OEM Mercedes- quality without question
There's not much more to say about these struts except that this is the OEM item. It's surprising that amazon has these and for a lower price than anywhere else is also incredible ($342 at this time). These struts are known to last forever so if you find 1 that's leaking it's a good idea to replace them both. You'll notice hydraulic fluid up under the rear of the car- splashed from the lower boot of the shock if the accordion band cover has torn away which they all do and isn't a big deal.If the rubber mounts are worn out for the shocks it's imperative to replace them and the dealer is the only place to get the mounting kits. Part #: 124 320 04 56. Those kits can be broken down into individual pieces but it's a good idea to get the kit for around $30.
