Best mic stand you can buy as a guitar player that sings. Very stable, perfect angle, and it looks cool as hell.

This IS NOT a full microphone stand like they advertised. It is only the base and the bottom part of the microphone stand, which makes no sense because they do not sell the top half of the stand. I am not even sure what purpose this product serves.

Half the stand was gone. The box had no holes in it so I assume quality check is an issuer here. The stand is a great idea, I amgoing to mount a short boom on it so it will then be usable. I just don't want the hassle of doing a return, Again, the idea of the standat this angle is good, If I thought it would get here in one piece, I'd order another one.

Upon arrival I was able to assemble one stand. I could only get the pole section of the stand to thread about a 1/4 inch. I contacted the seller (8th Street Music) and spoke with Paul who was very helpful and suggested applying a small amount of vaseline to the threads of the plot piece. I did as he requested and it almost screwed all the way in.I noted the base threads had paint (to powder coat) as did the pole threads. I used a small wire brush and completely removed the paint from both pole pieces, reapplied vaseline, and both stands went together easily.Well built, love the friction height adjustment and the heavy duty construction of the stands. I highly recommend these stand for any working musician.

Been looking for this type of stand for a while. Only complaint is stand does not thread smoothly and completely into the base.

I like the Peavey V-Based Mic Stands because they are angled just right, you don't trip over the supporting legs, & I don't have to bend forward to use the mic. They are very durable and I've been using them for over 25 years and wouldn't use anything else.

The stand is awesome. However....there were NO directions in the box. I couldn't figure out how to get it to go up and down, or if I was missing a piece. I even called the place of purchase to find out if they knew how. Finally I put the microphone cradle on the top and it began to telescope up and down. Thank you.
