This Does Exactly what it says it does. Good Booster and working Signal Meter.I suspect this product works for some and not others due to the TYPE of interference they have and how far they are from the transmitter antenna.I had been having no problems but began having new problems.I suspected new cell towers but honestly I have no idea what caused it.Maybe my old booster was just not doing it any more.This Immediately solved my problems on the channel group I was having issue with in the channel 27 group. Those signals went from a dropout inducing 70% to a clear 90%.I am around 45 air miles from the transmission tower in mountainous terrain.I DID NOT find the signal meter all that helpful and I did better by looking up the actual direction the tower is away from me on-line and pointing my antenna exactly in that direction using a compass.

I liked this amplifier so much, that when lightning fried it, I searched for the same model. Amazon couldn't find it by manufacturer, title or even model number. Had to do a Google search where a link to an Amazon review finally led me to the Amazon listing to this amplifier. Amazon's search engine is idiotic.

I purchased this via Amazon recommendation when I purchased my new antenna. It did not pick up even one channel. I thought it was the new antenna but when I removed it and went straight from the antenna to the tv I ended up receiving 19 channels! I also tried it on my fathers tv and sure enough, zero channels. Maybe this one is just faulty but I will NOT be buying another one.

This was a perfect amplifier, I had 34 channels before I installed it, after Installing it, I had 72 channels, the down fall with it is, when you have to remove the coax its almost impossible to do, because, the plastic hole the fitting sits up in, is the same size as the coax fitting and it drags the plastic, by the time you figure this out you have twisted the fitting in the amp to where it has come loose, the trim around the fittings need to be larger and the fitting bonded in tighter. If it hadnt been for the fitting on the left side not being bonded in better and the pit hole its in were larger, I would have given it a 5 star. I liked it so much that I am considering purchasing another one and fixing it. If you want a good Pre amp, this one is it, if you carve the pit out where the fitting will allow the coax to be screwed up on and epoxy the fitting tighter where it dont turn when tightening or loosening it, you wont be sorry.

Nearly as high gain at lower price as Channel Master Titan 2, and draws less current. Has signal strength display to help adjust direction. Best of 4 amplifiers we've had. We're buried in a forest of dense trees. You can't teach them anything...

Most in-line TV signal amplifiers perform as well as each other, and this one performs very well. It improved signal strength and brought in some ATSC channels that were too weak before. But the thing that sets this device apart is the built in signal strength meter. You aim your antenna while watching the led display and you find the ideal direction. Also, I set the display pointing to the side of the house such that I can easily see from the ground that the signal strength is still as it should be.

Hey ya'll, this amplifier really works. For how long remains to be seen. I could not get channel 13 ABC. I got nothing but static. I installed this amplifier 6 inches below the antenna, ran a channel scan and wa-la, 13 came in clear as a bell.

When it works it works good. Something wrong in amp circuits as it needs unplugged and plugged back in to work. Might be overheating, might be EMI issues. I swapped power supplies and provided dedicated ground with no improvement. Going RCA or Winngard.
