Love my mpow's!
In the past, I have spent $100 plus on "big name brand" pairs of earbuds. None has been as great as the mpow's.I have had a pair of the first generation mpow's for about 6 years, and still use them daily. They are starting to get a little worn, so I thought I would get a backup pair. These are awesome, and sound even better than my current pair. Will continue to use my older ones at work until the give up the ghost. However, these new ones sound so good, will use them when watching shows & movies on my tablet. Have recommended to friends & family for years. Fron housewives to truck drivers, every one of them has been very happy with the mpow's.Very satisfied, and highly recommend mpow products!

Left earbud stopped working within a week
Do not buy these. The wires will fatigue and break after only a few days of use. After only a few days I noticed that the sound would fade if I moved my head too quickly. I figured that it was just a connectivity issue at first. Nope. The wires to the left earbud fatigued and broke. Now the left speaker doesn't work at all.Earpiece cable strain relief is completely non-existent on this headset.

Not satisfied. Not disappointed.
I bought these for use during work and leisure. I will list the positives about this product first. For Bluetooth headphones they are relatively inexpensive. They are light, you can even forget that you're wearing them. They seem to have very sturdy construction. The wires to the buds, for wireless headphones, are thick and don't seem to suffer the flimsiness I've see with other headsets. They paired fairly quickly and easily with my phone (about 15 to 30 seconds). But this thickness is also a point of nuisance. The wires are so thick that they are stiff. And if you don't have buds twisted the right way in their rests the wires will continually tickle your neck. Also, you have to seat the buds just right or they'll not sit in their magnetic rest. These do not have a shape (round) that allows you to just place it near the magnet and it sticks. And the magnets appear to be so weak that I constantly find the buds dangling loose.Another disappointment is the controls. For some reason the company opted to combine the controls for the phone with the audio so you you have to remember all the press combinations in order to get the functionality you want. They should have split the out. Three buttons control the functionality of all purposes and some functions require you to push more than one button at a time. Good luck remembering the combos.Still another slightly disappointing aspect of these is the length of the "arms". I feel like I'm reaching further back on my neck to find the controls.I'm not convinced you get there battery time that's advertised but I'll keep you posted. I noticed that this headset does not have a audio HD. Maybe some fancy gimmickry on my last set but theres no equalizer on this set.Like I said, since I mainly use these for calls the important thing for me is that my listener hear me and I hear them.Since I've already gone through three pairs of these things already (not this brand) the thing I'm looking for now is durability. Time will tell and I'll tell you.

Great when it was working
The quality is great. Compared to Gen-3 there isn't much of a difference. Better sound quality and battery life but overall design and feel is more or less the same.I like the new sound quality the most though. Makes the bass really 'boom'. But the material used to make this Gen feels a lot more like plastic as opposed to Gen-3 which had a kind of glossy coating to reduce the awkward texture.Edit: After about 4 months the left earpiece has completely stopped working. Still a great product and battery life is amazing. However listening to music is a bit strange now as only the right side works.

Built to fail
If you're just looking to be legal behind the wheel of certain states, these are probably fine. These are good enough for casual and occasional talks on the phone. If you plan on using these to listen to music, or anything more than light use, look elsewhere. I got these to replace the Gen 4.1 whose ear buds were failing, the volume so low you couldn't hear anything. I ordered these March 8th, and on April 16th, after infrequent, non-daily use, the right ear bud is beginning to fail. These aren't the lowest quality headphones you'll find. The magnets to keep the earbuds stored work great, and the noise-cancelling works well enough to drown out the sound of a lawnmower. I want to like these, but ultimately since they won't stand up to infrequent music listening, I can't recommend these.

I can't recommend them
The sound quality is good. These are okay for walks and jogging, I had more problems then expected when I went running. The part that rests around your neck moves around way more than I figured it would. They ear buds fall out all of the time, this is actually my biggest issue with these headphones. They don't fall out only when running, the ear buds fall out all the time.I usually use the medium size ear bud adaptors, but for these I'm using the smallest ones but they still drop all the time, even when I'm not doing anything. They ear buds are uncomfortable and you have to smash them into your ear to get them to say in for maybe five minutes. These suck even more for lifting. Again, the ear buds fall out all the time and the collar always makes it so they fall off whenever you sit up (getting up off a bench, laying on the floor, etc). The battery does last a while, but with how large the part that rests on your neck is, that's not unexpected.

Does everything it needs
Love the functionality, but the one drawback is that the headphone wires are just too thin. They could've spent an extra 30 cents and had such better quality wires or wire wrappings to prevent breakage. I can already tell these won't last the distance, but in the meantime it's pretty good. Skipping backward (30s in podcasts, previous song in music) is rarely found on neckbands nowadays and this one does it perfectly.

Lasted about 6 months
One earpiece is now really quiet. This seemed to happen gradually, so I am guessing it is a problem with the electronics, rather than some mechanical failure (cable coming loose etc).Other than that, pretty good - although if you use them while moving quickly (on a push bike etc), they have a lot of wind noise.

Heavy Bass at All...
I bought this item based on other's reviews only for bass. It is really awesome. Bass is literally like high end over ear head phones. For this you need to keep your ear buds in correct angle.

Works great
Good to be able to hold the mic near your mouth when commuting, Comfortable fit. Sound is just fine. Ear tips fit great and block a lot of ambient sound (I put on the large ones). Turns on and connects very quickly.
