Fun, Easy, and Great for Creative Kids
This clay craft kit is a fantastic activity for kids who love hands-on projects. The air-dry clay is soft, easy to shape, and doesn’t require baking, making it mess-free and beginner-friendly. The kit includes everything needed to make two starry night lanterns, which turn out really cute with the included LED lights (just remember to have your own batteries). It’s a great project for kids to do alone or with family. The instructions are simple to follow, and the end result is a fun, personalized nightlight. Plus, it’s a great way to encourage creativity and fine motor skills.

so many color options
this was a family fun activity! There was enough clay for both of my kiddos to do one and both my husband and I to help - really if there were a third globe included a third one probably could have been made it was a simple affordable family activity to do when stuck in doors

Clay Starry Lamp
My daughter likes to play with clay, so I thought this would be something she likes. I do not think she was too interested in putting the clay in the globe. She was more interested in playing with the clay itself. There are two plastic globes, 12 plastic bags with clay, a roller and some string lights. There are directions to follow of how to prepare the clay to go into the globe. It does say for best results to complete the clay project in one hour. I did notice my daughter left out some clay and it dried up. So make sure you do this project when you open the clay packages. This is a great idea for a creative kid who likes to read directions and complete projects.

Christmas project for some students who had enjoyed clay in the past
I gave this to some students who had worked with this kind of clay in the past. They did enjoy making them and it allowed them to have some homemade Christmas presents to give. The tool that is meant to cut the stars out was difficult to use and didn't really work the way it was supposed to. But the lights provided were fun and it was a nice process to first make the lamp and then try it out in the dark with the lights. I would say don't hope for too much with the star situation but there are other ways to create holes in the clay that will work.

Hard To Open Battery Box
I am hoping to do this craft with my grandson when he comes over. Meanwhile, I unpacked it to see what was in it (see photo). There are 12 packets of clay, 2 globes, a rolling pin, 3 clay tools, 3 star shaped cutters, and 2 battery boxes with string lights. Also a set of instructions.I wanted to test out the string lights, but I couldn’t get the battery boxes open to put batteries in. There was nothing in the instructions to tell you how to open them. I ended up opening one with a sharp tool, but broke the latch on the box. I guess I can tape it closed or something. The string light did light up once the batteries were inserted. It looks like a fun craft, but it would have been better if they would have included instructions for opening the battery boxes.
