These are fantastic so easy to use. I use one to lock my helmet to the bike when I am not using it and the other to go around the back wheel as extra security in addition to my main Locke. These are also super handy if you just popping for a coffee, you can lock the bike in place and then keep an eye on it And have that piece of mind.

These are brilliant. Really easy to carry, surprisingly robust and easy to use. Ok, they won’t stand up to a determined, properly equipped thief, but as a way to secure my bike while I quickly pop into a shop or cafe, they’re spot on.

I wouldn’t use these to secure my bike if I was leaving it completely unattended, but they are excellent if your bike is within site but some distance away, e.g. in the bike rack at the end of the railway carriage.If all you need is an inconvenience to slow a thief down these are lightweight, easy to carry and practical. I use the mostly when washing the bike, so I can leave it to go fill a bucket.

Very light and perfect as a secondary lock for extra deterrence. I bought 2 and one of the keys did not work so well but Hiplok sent a replacement immediately and without fuss. Great customer service.

It doesn't weigh and easy to store. It's the ultimate solution at cafe stops on long rides. I wouldn't trust these to lock my bike and leave unattended however. It's like a thick cable tie. As I said, I use these at cafe stops at long rides while I'm still able to see my bike. It gives a bit peace of mind while you're ordering something iin shops

Lightweight security device for those moments where you don’t need locks and chains. I use them for my bikes on my car’s bike rack. They are enough to stop an opportunist when filling with fuel, etc.

It's important to remember that products such as these are designed for securing a bike in view for brief windows Eg while you run inside for a coffee. They are a deterrent for opportunistic thieves who are looking to hop on an unsecured bike and be off. These absolutely will not stop a thief with tools and should not be relied upon to do so.My only real complaint with the product itself is that because it has universal keys all a thief need do is buy one of these to have the key to everyone's. Furthermore, a knowledgeable thief will know that these can be opened with just a couple of pins or nails. As such this shouldn't be used as anything more than secondary security in combination with another lock. However, this was my intention as I will use these to secure the wheels of my bike and a different lock to secure the frame.Aside from that, the product is well made, easily portable and nicely packaged. It's fit for the purpose I bought it for. My only issue with the product I received is as shown in the picture there appears to have been a manufacturing issue with the keys I received. They both still work though but it's 3* instead of 4* for that reason.
