HiplokDX Wearable D/U Lock

I have a Cube Hybrid Ebike so it is in parts a thicker frame than a standard bike which usually put me off D Locks. This is admittedly a snug fit however i really like that, it fits through all the bike hoops and stands ive come across and leaves a snug fit that i cant see any bottlejack attempt breaking through. Theres no way bolt cutters are going to get through it, especially if its raised off the floor, they wouldnt have the leverage to apply pressure.If someone can pick one or is prepared to use an agle grinder then there is very little you can do about it, how many oppurtunist bike thieves carry angle grinders around i dont know, its not a quiet thing to undertake so that really leaves lock pickers and if someone is skilled enough to pick one of these or any lock then there isnt much anybody can do. As said its a snug fit but does go around the frame on the top tube, down tube and underneath the stem.I have no qualms about leaving it in public for an hour or two, that said i have my bike insured. The best thing about this D Lock other than the Sold Secure rating is the transportability of it, i also have a Bulldog Chain Lock, which weighs nearly three times as much as this and is huge, its just not practical.This lock can slip into your back pack or over your back pocket if you use the attachment. Ive ridden lots of places with it over my belt loop and over my back pocket if nipping to the shops in jeans, its never come off and feels very sturdy though i wouldnt wear it on a trail, but who locks bikes on trails. For commuting its fantastic, much lighter than chain locks, and it also comes dressed in a rubberised coating which means its not going to prang your paintwork. If you have oversized fixtures like big fences or girders you secure your bike to then a chain lock is always going to be better fit wise, but this is just fine on as said a very chunky ebike frame on standard council cycle stands and racks and lots more!Ive had two months use from it daily with no issues, will upate if theres any failure or theft but looks solid and durable for me, five stars!

If it lives up to it's own publicity then looks like I'll be keeping my latest bike for a while. I live in Oxford which is a notorious hot spot for bike thieves. Only time will tell

This is not as big as my other D locks but I have found to be big enough to lock my bike to where I need to lock it. This less weighty than many equivalent secure D locks.

Looks very resistant and cool, although a bit short and there is a note in the packaging to be aware of due to the nature of the lock's material, not really expliciting any reason.Tiny little detail but very thoughtful was the rubber cap to protect the key hole and avoid stiffness due to rust.All in all it is a great lock.

The lock turned up as promised the very next day, which is fantastic...but...it had no Keys, so the locked lock is completely useless, a cable tie was missing from the packaging, which I assume is where the keys were secured to the lock, and the keys must've got up, and walked away at some point...so I have a fancy lock, and no way to use it at all

This is a strong heavy lock, but the belt clip means I can carry it around without lugging the weight on the bike or a bag as you don’t feel it when it’s clipped on.

It feels like a solid lock and is very convenient to attach it to the belt. I also appreciate the soft touch coating, which makes it nicer to handle. It's quite a small U lock, but that's what I wanted because it's easier to carry and, assuming you can fit it around the bike, harder to break into

Excellent lock. It has a few scratches from where someone has tried to get through it, but I've genuinely had this lock for several years. The only reason I'm writing a review NOW is because I'm looking to get another one!One thing the ads won't tell you about this lock, however...It has an excellent heft to it, with a pretty decent balanced grip. So if you're ever in need of a self defense option, it's very easy to draw the lock off of your hip. For warding off the "wildlife" if you will. If you need it.

Awesome lock! Best in the market for grinders resistance! A little bit expensive! Like they say, You getwhat you pay for! solid body! I am happy with my purchase!

Took a long time to arrive. Ordered 3 for the family but 1 arrived missing keys. Daughter went out with friend. Her friend's bike got stolen. Her's was untouched. That's a good lock. Using it to protect very expensive electric bike. It is kind of small. Just room to lock frame to standard bike rack. But that is part of the design structure, that there's no room to insert leverage tool.

Bought this for my single speed bike. Very impressed with the weight and nice design features that make it easier to use and carry. The system by which you can clip it to your belt is surprisingly useful and also helps you to line up the lock around a pole. The rubber cap on the lock is also nice to keep out water and grime. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to balance weight, security and convenience.
