You can apply one or more layers based on the intensity you are going for. Even one layer will stay on throughout the day with no weird wear off whatsoever. It is not drying at all. Also comes off easily with a make-up remover. Exceeded my expectations in terms of color payoff, look, feel & wear. Highly recommended!

The picture shown looks a little darker than the actual product, but it still looks good. The lipstick has a nice minty and moisturizing affect.

THIS LIPSTICK IS AMAZING!!!! Im not a lipstick wearer and didn't start wearing lipstick until 30. I have tried MAC and hated the way it dried out my lips. Im African American and have medium skin. Red lipstick usually does not look good on me. On a whim, I tried this brand and color. ITS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The lipstick stays on all day without reapplication. It moisturizes my lips to the point I don't need to add lip primer before I apply. Im a heavy chap stick user and don't feel the need to apply chap stick throughout the day when I wear this lipstick. This lipstick looks great on any skin tone. I would definitely recommend it.

Great color. I used to love Elated and I guess they must have discontinued it in favor or this color. I really like it. Just the right degree of brightness.

The color show was much more intense than shown on line. It also wiped off which one of the reviews said it would not. Right now it just sits on my dresser. The couple of times I have worn it, I have to wipe most of it off to tone down the color. I also expected it to be very creamy, but it is not.

My first butter lipstick IS like butter Creamy; lovely. This purchase was dry and flat. The color was fine but texture sadly lacking.
