Tomato Paste - Double Concentrated - 4.5 oz (Pack of 2)

I have been using this product for several years now and always want to keep it on hand. It has a great intense tomato flavor and is so easy to use. The best thing is that you can use a teaspoon or so and put it back in the fridge. It keeps its flavor and there is no waste. I have thrown away so many cans of tomato paste because I didn't like the idea of keeping tomato paste in a tin can for more than a few days.

I hate to throw away tomato paste. You know how sometimes the recipe only calls for a tablespoon or two of tomato paste. This tubed paste solves that problem. Use as little or as much as you need. Put the cap back on and refrigerate until next time. The Double Concentrated Tomato Paste adds a wonderful depth of flavor to any dish. Because it is Double Concentrated you don't have to use alot to achieve added flavor.

Like to have these in fridge for recipes calling for small amounts

I quit buying tomato paste in the can when I discovered tomato paste in a squeeze tube! No more waste and no more messy cans!This brand has a great flavor too, I even use it to make a quick pizza sauce. I just squeeze a bit in a small bowl, add enough water to get the desired consistency, sprinkle in a few herbs, salt, a drizzle of olive oil, and some parmesan cheese. I don't use that much sauce for my pizzas so this works out perfect for me. Great tomato flavor for pasta as well!
