For my purposes this 3000 g scale is perfect. It’s still accurate at less than a gram and consistent. It’s also different than the scales from 500 g to 5000 g and now that I have it I like it a lot. Good shape, size and how the platform goes down into the body of the scale is nice. The coolest thing is that it has a 32 hour rechargeable battery built in because if you have to use a scale at a job site it quite easy to forget to make sure you have a decent battery in. This stays plugged in all the time and when you have to go it’s ready.

Great scale that’s easy to use. The charger has stopped working after about 18months and now I just have a dead scale with no way to charge it.Update. Contacted Cust. service and got a free charger. I’m 100% satisfied. 5 stars

I only request items I will actually use, and use I do, prior to writing a review.I needed a scale to weigh up larger silver bars so I thought I would give this a try. I am impressed with the features for the money. This scale comes with a rechargeable battery, so it is truly portable. A nice feature. All four feet can be adjusted for leveling (pictured) with the aid of the built-in bubble level (pictured). This let’s you make sure you are getting ultraprecise weights.The backlit display is bright and easy to read with very large numbers for the weight readout (pictured). The stainless steel weight platform is removable for cleaning, also a nice feature (pictured).Once powered the scale goes through a short start up sequence. I wanted to check accuracy out of the box, so I tried it with a 10 Ozt silver bar (pictured) that weighed a tad heavy but not out of norm for these. I thought I would try real test and I grabbed a 20g calibration weight I use for my smaller scales. This scale was dead on (pictured), very impressive!This scale weighs in a variety of weights, though I only use grams and pennyweights. I also did not try the counting function. But, for my uses at least, I am very impressed with the large, removable platform, battery operated portability with the ability to plug it in if needed (power supply included), accuracy, and very easy to read display.As I do at the end of all my reviews, I ask myself if I would actually purchase this item. Yes, I would buy this scale and will use it on a regular basis.

Perfect for cosmetic formulators and soap makers! I need to measure accurately when I’m making my organic skin care formulations and I have had a lot of trouble finding a scale that was accurate and stayed accurate. This is probably the fifth or sixth scale I’ve tested and it’s the only one that I use now! It is easy to use, calibrates easily, and stays true. I’ve tested skills that were more expensive, but none that worked this good! For that reason I find it to be a good value.

I like this scale. It is spot on and easy to use. The rechargeable battery is nice and holds a charge for quite some time. Not much else you can say. I can recommend it. 5 STARS

You may have noticed that this is listed as an electronic balance or lab scale rather than just a scale. A balance is generally used for scientific measuring and is expected to have a higher level of accuracy. I am pleased to report that this one earns its label.In the photo shown I am using a 20g reference weight. This particular weight has been verified using the extremely expensive balances at a pharmaceutical lab. As you can see, it is spot on.If you need precise measurement, this is an excellent option. Far superior to the typical electronic scales from other vendors but at a price point well below other quality balances.
