Living in northern US, sun is not shining a lot. This helps for sure avoiding winter depression. We turn it on in the morning, and never have it on after midday. It might interfere with sleep if turned on late afternoon (less melatonin). And I put indoor plants and cat grass close to it - everything grows very nicely. Very good investment.

Can easily customize the settings and it will remember for the next time you use it.

I cannnot say enough about thisss! I’m obsessed & it’s just as good as those 30/40 dollar ones! Okay so I bought this because I live in the North East and I get serious seasonal depression so I bought a couple of these(since they’re so affordable you can get more than one) and they absolutely made a huge difference and I saw much improvement with my mood, motivation with these. Then when spring came I was doing a ton of seed germination & plant starting for our huge garden. I was actually able to Use these as GROW LIGHTS AS WELL! LOOK IT UP, +++ I have serious results, like my plants went crazy with these lights, it was like steroids for them! They definitely have many purposes, there’s options to use timer, 6 options, than also the option to leave on permanent. I’ve used for 4 days straight without turning off for the plants and got a lot of ware out of them and they’re doing just fine ! Compatible & very easy to store, thin, sleek. Chargers a little bulky but no big deal. All around Great product

I had lost my will to live when I ordered this lamp. Not joking. I bought a couple of these as a last ditch effort to survive the long, dreary, endless Utah winter. I bought one for myself and one for my depressed teenager. Every night I would lay in my bed with my face pointed at this thing and set it to the longest preset option. Then I would turn on a relaxation recording of the sound of ocean waves and visualize lying on a beach with the sun on my face. Was it still the worst winter of my life with seasonal depression? Absolutely. But every night I looked forward to pretending to be on the beach, and I think it helped to have something to look forward to. Try it. It could help! As a bonus, my 8 year old also uses it as a tracing light for her art projects.

I purchased a similar idea from Aldi's. The one that I received from Amazon forget the make did not have the different degrees and different types of light as it is advertised just one white light and different variations of brightness that's not what was advertised for purchase by the time I opened it and plugged it in the 30 days it already passed and it was shortly after Christmas and had too much going on to remember, 😞

So doctors recommend that you have at least 1 square foot in surface area for the sun lamps to treat SAD, but the lamps I have found with that type of surface area are SO expensive. Instead I bought three of these and it’s been working great! I like that there is a button to easily turn it all the way up to the recommended brightness.
