The servo is good quality, has performed well in Tamiya lunchbox but the included servo arms are not especially good quality. Fortunately, there's some decent ones in the lunchbox kit otherwise I'd have used different ones.

I bought these as a replacement for a busted steering servo on a vintage Acme NB16 nitro truggy. After a little tinkering (loosening the mounts, attaching the servo then tightening the mounts again) they performed admirably, especially considering that these servos are considerably smaller than the original one.

Great little servo for the price.The size is about 2mm wider and longer than a standard so had to trim the tray. However I cannot moan. Works very well on a nitro truck with stiff steering. The horns are a little bit short but overall a great servo.

I got these after one of my previous all-plastic servos failed . I'm using them for point and signal operation on a model railway. I'm hoping these will be more reliable than the cheaper variety. So far they seem excellent, much quieter and smoother in operation.

Metal gear replacement servos to replace OEM servos in HobbyKing RC model aircraft. Two sets purchased.So far, these servos working well in two airplanes where the OEM plastic geared servos had stripped teeth. These Sunfounder servos are a millimeter or so larger than the HK ones and have a better quality more robust feel. They operate the same as the HK ones.Knocked one star off for the servo horns provided, which are too thin and have very small holes at close centres, suggesting they are from less robust plastic geared servos. The splines don't match the HK servos so had go with using these.These metal geared servos deserve much better horns.

I bought some cheaper servos for a project but they were unstable when used from a raspberry pi without a dedicated servo board. The Sun Founder ones were beautifully stable and smooth. I bought two more.

Bought these servos for a large bi plane but when I fitted them they would not centre so no good .

I break ALOT of micro servos, but all 10 of these have survived many different projects. They dont have much holding torque because of the 5 second overload protection, but still enough power to get a prototype working without having to swap out broken motors. Love em!
