Surprising sound volume and clarity for such a tiny speaker
I bought a variety of compact 8 ohm speakers to evaluate for use with a horn-bell sound module in a model train engine. This one was the smallest and one of the least expensive speakers I evaluated. It certainly didn't look like a traditional speaker. Frankly I was expecting this speaker to perform the worst. But in tests, the speaker performed surprisingly excellent. It surpassed my expectations. A further advantage of the speaker is that it is encased and easy to mount.

Good job for the price.
I used one with a 2 watt amplifier for a ship's horn on my model Navy ship. Plenty of volume. I did not play music or voice so I cant say to that quality but the horn sounds great.

Nice quality sound for Home Assistant voice notifications.
I paired this with an M5Stack Atom Lite ESP32 and a MAX98357 DAC/amplifier and set the volume at +12dB by shorting the gain pin to ground. The Atom is running ESPHome. I am driving it with the Piper TTS add-on to Home Assistant. It works great - volume is at a standard voice level and the voice is very clear. Overall it sounds better/clearer than a cell call on speaker with a volume that is similar. Below is the yaml I'm using on the Atom, if that is helpful. Of course your chosen pins may vary. Total cost, $22.50, but I'm using the same Atom for two other purposes - a relay and a smoke detector, so effectively this is very cheap.i2s_audio:i2s_lrclk_pin: GPIO23i2s_bclk_pin: GPIO19media_player:- platform: i2s_audioname: ESPHome Voice Announcementsdac_type: externali2s_dout_pin: GPIO22mode: mono

Great for DIY
The media could not be loaded. These are great little speakers; They are small and compact (you could probably fit them both on an altoids can) but the sound quality is nice; for now I am just messing around with them using an arduino uno but these will eventually end up on a larger project I haven't gotten all the parts for. I've also hooked them up to a small amplifier board I had around and they sound nice.

Outstanding product
It was so small but the quality exceeded my expectations.

Surprisingly good!
These little speakers really have a lot of volume, and more bass than I expected. I am building some LM386 audio amplifiers for an intercom system and had no problem at all getting enough sound out of them. They get too loud before starting to distort. They are a good value.

Durable little speakers, sound OK too.
These are good for Arduino projects, very durable and they sound a lot better than the piezoelectric buzzer type speakers or the exposed speaker cones with no housing. They also have breadboard friendly connectors.

Bang for the buck
The media could not be loaded. Range on these are excellent speakers are superb. I put these in my redcat 64 impala. And you could hear these all throughout the house. Definitely gonna buy more for my other RC models.
