Beats JD Hygard Lo-Vis for cold weather operation
I've had this fluid in my John Deere compact utility tractor with hydrostatic transmission for 2 winters now. It has a wider viscosity range, so it flows better when it's -20F. The hydraulics work right away, the HST responds quickly with minimal warm-up, and the hydraulic pumps are quieter in the cold. This is a premium product with the data to back up its claims. For less than what Mother Deere charges, it's a better product. Plus, it's dyed red so that leaks are easier to detect and isolate. It lists a wide range of equipment applications. If you have a hydrostatic drive and operate in cold weather, this is for you.

My Kubota really likes it!
It could be my imagination but I feel the tractor hydraulics are quieter and perform better including the transmission over using the standard Kubota branded fluid. For reference it's an older high hour B-21

Slick, stinks a bit, looks like oil
Not recommended to pour on floors, may make the floors slippery. Not recommended as shampoo.It does the job well if you need hydraulic transmission fluid for a wet clutch environment. Put it in my ATV differential and it hasn’t had any issues. Smells way better than the old oil does.

I had been using petroleum based hydraulic transmission fluid in my 35 HP Hydrostatic transmission tractor with a Tier 4 engine. The TRIAX synthetic oil is a multi-viscosity oil. It has a red tint which makes it easy to see on the dip stick. I was a little concerned with the fact that it has a pour point of -50 degrees. I live in North Carolina so it does get hot in the summer. I was thinking the viscosity may be to low. The first thing I noticed was that the hydraulics and transmission was a slightly smoother, but what was most noticeable was when the engine went through a regen. Before during a regen I had to park it due to the high temperatures thinning down the hydraulic oil to the point that the transmission became extremely noisy. What really sold me on the oil was when I was bush hogging at 2350 RPM and it went through a regen, I did not have to stop until it finished. Very impressed.

Decided not to use this hydraulic fluid for my Yanmar tractor because it is not approved by Yanmar

Go it to me spill free.
Hopefully this will be a synthetic upgrade for 4wheeler transmission from Mobil 134. Wet clutch and brake smooth operation.
