These really do work when taken as stated in the directions. I can’t say enough about this.

Takes some time to adjust to it.
I am taking 1500 mg of this supplement as recommended by my ophthalmologist to try to shore up the optic nerve. If you check out the side effects, initially, the gas and bloating was intense. This was for about a week and I guess my body adjusted as it’s not so intense now. The lactic acid buildup has been present and use of a muscle roller has helped a lot. Not my purpose for taking the supplement, my appetite is significantly less. What a benefit! I could stand to lose 10 to 15 pounds. I will keep using it in spite of the side effects to give myself every chance with glaucoma.

Not a weight loss supplement
There are many reviews here claiming this is a wonder drug for weight loss. This was not my experience. I originally bought these for my spouse who has epilepsy and pyruvate shows some evidence of protecting the brain during and post seizure, I will continue to purchase for her, for that purpose alone. These are a miss on the weight loss front.
