Very compatible to original Sony dvd remote. I knew this remote would not be a genuine part, even though the Sony logo is pictured in the photo in the item description. (Slight misrepresentation). The item works so well and is such a great value! It saved me from searching for a more expensive, genuine remote

It worked! No setup needed!
I bought an old Sony DVD player (DVP-NS325) at a yard sale, and I figured I'd roll the dice on it. Everything was fine until I tried to play a combo DVD for my little guy. We couldn't scroll down to the second movie on the menu using the buttons on the unit itself. So, I bought this remote. It worked without any setup! I just put batteries in, pointed it at the DVD player, and it immediately worked perfectly. Wow! It's a yard-sale miracle. Magic!

Worked great. I had to replace my original because I left the battery in too long and it corroded.

This doesnt work as it should
I have been looking for a replacement remote. And this one is not it as Described. So I am giving this to the trash can. I am still searching for a replacement to be able to use my DVD Player

Works Great with my Sony DVD Player
It works great with my Sony. The remote I received doesn't say "Sony" at the bottom as pictured here. It doesn't matter to me though as long as it works.
