Amazing contrast --- so far, so good
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this after an unsuccessful trial of a Silver Ticket silver-color screen, which had visible defects when brightly lit.Assembly wasn't awful...Elite Screens has done away with the fiddly grommets that need to be installed. They now use metal rods (akin to the style used by Silver Ticket), but still uses the mini springs that each must be individually installed. The switch away from the plastic grommets was a welcome surprise and the assembly was much faster. One thing to consider with this setup is that the rods can cause some screen "bunching" during assembly, so you'll want to ensure that the rods are inserted properly/smoothly.I have a 120" set up in my loft mandate, running an Epson Home Cinema 4000. There are a lot of windows in my house, and while I do have blinds and light-blocking curtains, my viewing space is not fully light-controlled, hence my interest in a gray screen. While the Silver Ticket screen I tried was a 1.5 gain, and this Cinegray 3D is 1.2 gain, this Cinegray screen seems to be as bright, if not brighter than the Silver Ticket. My Epson is a 2200 lumen projector, so with its lower power I was concerned that I might have issues lowering the gain, but thus far that hasn't been an issue. Thus far, I'm very impressed. After calibrating my projector for brightness and contrast, the image quality is excellent. Colors are rich, and the blacks are quite dark for a non-light-controlled space The screen does seem to reject peripheral light from above reasonably well, but not particularly well from the sides, but will need more testing.I sit approximately 10 feet from the screen (which is too close until I finish some remodeling) so there is some vignetting/hotspotting that should improve by moving back a few feet.So far, so good. No screen defects that I can detect yet. Will update review if any issues arise.

Great screen, much better than a lot of those $20 ones floating around
Solid product. Picture looks much better on this than on my old screen. I would say you get what you pay for, but I was lucky to grab this for $167 when it was marked that low for some reason. Personally I find the prices of screens to be a little insane.Am I happy with it at the price I paid compared to my old $20 "hanging on those glue to the wall clips" screen. Most definitely. Would I recommend this at $500+, probably not, hence the lack of a fifth star. There are other screens out there for less that I'd recommend. If I wouldn't have gotten that deal, there's no way I'd own this right now.If you absolutely need something acoustically transparent, you could go this route, and it'll work amazingly. If you have the time and skill though, you could also just build a frame and use spandex, works wonders.

Makes my screen visible in daylight without curtains. Amazing.
This thing is amazing. I picked a picture that I think will show you what you get in a bright room in broad daylight. No it's not perfect, but I have about 30 feet of windows ten feet high on the other side of the room. That's crazy impressive. The faded out parts are where a mirror is bouncing direct light onto it (I moved it after the photo. Mine is the 150" alr grey screen with a 4000 lumen projector. Also I had no bright spots like other people did. Also, I had no trouble with all the little springs, a small tool was included but I didn't need it.This whole screen... Smells like victory.

Won't disappoint
It looks like I have a 100" LCD TV now. Very good quality construction, the aluminum frame is sturdy and well designed. Finished product puts out a very taught screen with no wrinkles and a beautiful picture with my ViewSonic Pro7827HD projector at 10'Only issues were the tabs were painful on the finger tips, I was also short 2 tabs for recommended installation. Lastly the screen did not have a black backing as indicated and was difficult to discern which side was the front, I actually had put it on backwards at first then had to reverse it. Aside from these few issues you will thoroughly enjoy your purchase after it is assembled and hung
