Easy to use vice
The item right from the box was easy to set up and use. It seems well built and so far has functioned as expected. Time will tell how well it is built but so far, so good.

Must have! Life saver!!
I do chainsaw carving so clamping in peices of wood to carve is fantastic! Perfect hight. Tight grip but easy to operate and release. Great quality, heavy enough to feel secure & stable but collapses down & east to carry and transport. Love this peice of equipment! So happy i bought it & it was a great price!

Power grab
This thing is sweet. I don't see why any manual laborer wouldn't like it. It's like having one or two extra hands. It is the berries once you figure out how to lock and unlock the jaw. The uses are endless once you use it a couple times. If it doesn't work correctly then I would say it is user error. One thing I would like to see added would be adjustable height legs and maybe some lockable casters. I got mine right at a Benjamin , well worth it for me. ***(*UPDATE ***** 12/18/22 This thing is a beast the only little issue I've had so far is the rubber pads that is on it fell off and didn't want to go back on so I just scuffed the backside and the mounting location then cleaned and slapped some contact cement on both surfaces and clamped itself shut tight and it's holding on there so far. But that's really not something i would cry over since everything else is still in tact. Awesome you can get rid of your helper with this thing around.

Consider the application..
The legs are a bit wonky but overall it worked well for my specific application - I’ll only need it occasionally, limited space in garage, so I opted for this instead of a table + mounted clamp. It held awkward shaped steering knuckle for bearing replacement as I hammered and pressed. Folds up for easy storage. I like it.

Garbage. DO NOT BUY
GARBAGE! DO NOT BUY! GO TO HARBOR FREIGHT AND GET THE ONE THEY SELL. Don't waste your time. I have used a couple of these exact same clamps that all worked great. Unfortunately I decided to skimp and get one that was a cheaper price which 2as a huge mistake. The rubber pads will not stay in place, the hight of the clamps themselves is to small, and the locking mechanism will not even hold 20 pounds without slipping let alone a ton. I returned this within a couple weeks of it being delivered.

Many moving parts, directions are very bad info
The instructions referenjce pictures to aid in setting up and there are no pictures. It is not all that simple with all the moving parts.dorections literally stink.

Get what you pay for!
If this clamp has a 1-ton rating of any type, then I’m Brad Pitt, ball like Jordan, and taught Tom Brady everything he knows. Built cheap with plastic tighten screw for the main support leg. Other than being cheaply made, it serves it purpose, but I would recommend the Ridgid or Rockwell versions, but expect to pay twice as much. I’ve had both previously but decided to go cheap this time and now I regret it.
