Bought this item to replace an old dead laptop battery. Was surprised to find that the polarity was inverted between this item and the old one.The photo in this listing is accurate.Totally my fault for assuming the MOLEX connector polarity would be the same.

This battery or any other laptop type battery DOES NOT work with the ps2 slim models that require the cr2032 with the solder tabs as these battery’s do not keep the time and date when the ps2 power supply is disconnected from the console ,the problem is the red and black wires they are back to front meaning they can never be used in a ps2 slim ,the ps2 slim requires the short wired PS3 cr2032-lc1 type battery NOT these battery types and those battery’s may be difficult to find aswell ,I’m pretty sure these are fully compatible with the pcs/laptops in the title given but I’ve never used one in any of my pcs or old laptops but do not buy them or any like it for the aging ps2 slim clock battery replacement.

Simple CMOS battery replacement for an old Cyberpower gaming laptop (Re-branded MSI GT70). Easy to fit and works as it's supposed to. That's all to it really.
