Q: To the owners of ferrets or other small pets, would this be safe for a ferret?

I believe it would be fine. My neighbor used to own a ferret and they are relatively small pets and this would be the right size and some to room to spare. I do not think the pet would be able to get out of it either. It is strong, sturdy carrier and the door can only be opened by pressing the two levers together. The top load feature would be good for getting your pet in and out.

Q: How easy and fast is this carrier to assemble and disassemble?

Carrier is very easy to assemble, no tools are needed. Just line of the screws (included), and screw them in! I've only disassembled it once and it was easy too, however not something that you would want to do every time you use it though!

Q: What size carrier for a 4 lb rabbit

This size (19") should be fine for a 4 lb rabbit.

Q: Is this the right size for a Cavalier King Charles puppy?

I would say yes. Depending on how fast they grow, unsure how long you’d be able to use it with the puppy though. Maybe 3-6 months?
