I recently purchased the Danya Soba Tsuyu dipping sauce for cold noodles with high hopes of recreating the authentic soba experience I enjoyed in Japan and Hawaii. Unfortunately, my expectations were far from met, and I find myself utterly disappointed with this product.The flavor of the sauce is simply not up to par. It lacks the depth, complexity, and balance that are characteristic of a true soba noodle sauce. Instead of transporting me back to the delicious tastes I remember, it left me unsatisfied and longing for the genuine flavors I had experienced before.Adding to my disappointment is the steep price of this product. For something that falls so short in terms of taste, the cost is unjustifiably high. I expected more for the price I paid, especially considering the memorable culinary experiences I've had with authentic soba dipping sauces.I'm left wondering whether the sauce I received was past its prime or if the brand itself consistently produces this lackluster flavor. It's baffling to me that a product marketed as a genuine soba tsuyu could be so far from what it should be.Regrettably, I cannot recommend the Danya Soba Tsuyu dipping sauce to anyone seeking an authentic and delicious soba experience. I suggest looking for alternative brands that offer a more true-to-taste product. As for me, I'll be on the lookout for a sauce that truly captures the essence of traditional soba dipping sauces from Japan and Hawaii.

I don’t like that I have to discard after 3 days of opening. Also it has High fructose corn syrup which is not authentic from Japan

Could be cheaper very expensive product compared to other brands
