16v Transformer BT8-16 8VA for Nest Hello Doorbell 16 Volt - Designed for Nest Hello Door Bell to be used in the UK

I’ve lived with my Nest Battery doorbell needing a bi-monthly charge for about two years due to the standard UK low voltage supply already in place.After finally caving and getting the job done it’s something I wish I’d done much sooner but could never find the best information.This works great for taking UK mains and outputting suitable power for the Nest doorbell and keeps the battery fully charged even during low temps.

With the absolute fiasco nest have created by not fully supporting their product with current hardware, this will work. Make sure you order a honeywell d107 as i did and you can get it to workWe installed the nest hello, honeywell d107 chime and this transformer and works with now issuesOnly thing to do is make sure you use the 0volt and 16v outputs, as we used the 8v and 16v and was didnt work

This is a good product, as it is good value and has multiple voltage outputs. Also well made, but it buzzes

I purchased a Nest doorbell in the US and this transformer works well to give it the 16v it needs. One niggle is there is a audible buzz from the transformer, but I have wedged it in such a way that it doesn't bother me...most of the time. My chime and previous transformer were 8v and there were no issues with the higher voltage.

Very rare to have a transformer with this much hum even without load. Not suitable for use in the hall (or anywhere with the noise).Returned for credit.

The Nest Hello needs a higher voltage to drive the chime than most European bells. With my previous transformer (that was supposed to be suitable) the chime would sometimes sound, sometimes not and when it did sound it was so quiet we’d often not hear it. This transformer has cured that. Phew!
