Perfection!
The media could not be loaded. I am a 15yr active duty Army Officer and I have owned a Hamilton Automatic Feild Kaki for a couple years. Hamilton is a outstanding watch company rooted in a U.S. military heritage/ pedigree. The company also began in 1892 in my home state of PA so I cannot help but feel connected to the brand. So when I was looking for my chronograph to add to my to my five watch collection the choice was obvious. In addition to all of this Hamilton's original 1968 release which this watch is modeled after carries the anecdotal distinction of being the second modern automatic chronograph wristwatch ever made, only losing the title to Seiko with their release being just 90 days earlier. Just based on that this is the chronograph to buy imo. The watch itself is perfection, gorgeous ascetic, crisp push buttons, 200m (328ft) of water resistance, sapphire crystal, fully polished case, and supple calf skin strap. All at a modest price for what you are actually getting in this peice. I also picked up the mesh bracelet separately from Hamilton and it looks absolutely stunning on this watch. An attention grabber yet absolutely understated. Finally, I was a bit worried not buying directly from Hamilton for something that was so expensive but the seller sent the item with all original manufacturers packaging and 2yr warranty card. There is some question as to the validity of the warranty card as it is blank so I plan to contact Hamilton directly and will follow-up on this.

Pricey for a Hamilton, but worth it.
This is a higher quality watch than their usual fare. On par with a Tag Heuer or Omega in my view. Pricing is on the higher end for Hamilton, but much less than their competition. The styling is a good mix of vintage look and modern elements that is so popular today. Finishing is superb, band is terrific and it wears comfortably on a 6.75" wrist.

It's so beautiful
Mouth opened when I opened the presentation box. No picture does it justice. It's so well done. It doesn't matter what I say beyond that. If you like the style, you'll be blown away in person. Enjoy

Hamilton intramatic

Sweeping Second hand doesn’t work.
Owned for less than a month and the sweeping second hand stops at 35 seconds and the sub dial second hand stops as well. Extremely disappointed with this watch.

Excellent value for an ETA Valjoux 7753 movement
This particular model is a re-edition of the original Hamilton Intra Matic Chrono from 1970, which was part of a joint release with Brietling and Tag Heuer (and yes the Monaco). So it has horologic significance.Besides that it has H31 movement based on ETA Valjoux 7753 - which is arguably the most reliable swiss chrono movement.Bottom line: if you want a reliable panda with a full swiss movement/made Switzerland for a very good price… look no further.
