2 bottles of Less Sodium NoSoy (soy-free) sauce by Ocean's Halo

I found out that I am too allergic to soy to eat it or use soy sauce. I found this alternative and it is a game changer, it is very similar tasting to soy sauce and now I can enjoy foods I would normally eat with soy sauce again.Pros: Has way less salt than soy sauce and low sodium soy sauce. No soy. More healthy than soy sauce.Cons: The spout is quite wide, I think it's designed for pouring in a dish while cooking not directly on your plate so a lot comes out at once. I find pouring it in a spoon and then on my food is easier otherwise too much comes out and it gets all over the bottle and your hands. Taste is a little different than soy sauce so it takes a little getting used to the flavor.

I am torn about this product.My boyfriend and I have take out sushi for lunch every Wednesday. We're also gluten free. I was super excited to find this online and use it for the first time. I sit down and pour this with a slight move of my wrist to shake it onto my meal. Well, it has no shaker top like All Other Soy Sauce bottles. It also doesn't pour nicely. So it drips all down the bottle, all over my tablecloth, splashes onto my work dress, misses my sushi and is just a big fat mess. I had to jump up to put my dress into the washing machine, wipe down my whole table, get redressed for work and now I'm just mad.So, I finally eat my sushi, but I couldn't tell if i liked it or not. I was too frustrated and short on time.The next Wednesday, I used it again. It got all over my tablecloth again no matter how careful I tried to be. And it was delicious. I absolutely recommend this for its flavor.The end.PS I was given two samples of broth. The pho one was super yummy. I'll be ordering that in the future. I don't remember the second, but I threw it away because it didn't fit my eating style.

We like the brand and everything about this soy sauce. It's the closest soy sauce flavor we've found to actual soy sauce. However, we've ordered this packaging twice now and have had problems both times. It's marketed as 2 bottles in a package, but both times we've ordered we've only received 1 bottle in our package. I tried to contest this last time and got nowhere. Not sure how to go about this than just returning this and buying elsewhere. Absolutely ridiculous to market as 2 bottles and only send 1, but charge for 2.

My allergies (soy, nuts, coconut, sesame) prevent me from having a ton of the traditional soy sauce alternatives! This stuff is the real deal and tastes so similar to soy sauce, even my roommates who eat soy says it tastes the same! Love it for cooking or dipping.

I have been gluten allergic for about 5 years and regular soy sauce has always make me feel sick. For many years I would buy reduced sodium soy sauce and it did help because I also have high blood pressure and I am sensitive to salt, but still didn't feel great after eating it. I adore Asian foods and I only eat meat and vegetables so I eat a lot of stir fries and I really want and need a soy sauce or sub that I can use that doesn't make me feel sick after eating it. I had tried all the reduced sodium and then all the reduced sodium gluten free sauces and still felt Ill afterwards.It never dawned on me that I might be allergic to Soy until February 6,2021 when I had a horrible allergic reaction. Soy is in just about everything and I am in the process of replacing all my food items for all gluten free/soy free products. I was thrilled to see this product and ordered some even though I think the price is rediculasly high. My order arrived today and upon opening the bag (Shipping two glass bottles in a bag is not a good idea!) I found one of the caps was broken and some of the product spilled all over the inside of the bag. I wasn't pleased about that. Luckily my mother happened to have a small cork that fit the bottle . While I was cleaning up the mess I noticed that the scent of the sauce was very strong and I tasted it with my finger. No, it does not taste like soy sauce, it tastes like salty raisins. It isn't bad and I am sure people who like coconut aminos would like it. I like the fact that it is more savory than coconut aminos, which is too sweet for me. I made a beautiful cabbage stir fry for dinner to try it out. It's not bad. It's certainly better than my next choice which is nothing. I mixed it with coconut aminos garlic sauce and found the winning combination. It was really delicious on my stir fry. Alone, both of those sauces are ok but together they are great! The sauce did not make me feel bad after I ate and I would love to order some more but I am going to hesitate ordering because of the broken cap from this order. Somebody in shipping needs to wise up. It's going to cost customers. Quit shipping the glass bottles in shipping bags! One thin layer of bubble wrap doesn't protect the bottles at all. You think you are trying to save money but you'll lose customer's over it. Product: 4 Stars Shipping: 0 stars.

I do not normally leave reviews, but felt compelled to recommend this soy sauce and its makers.The packaging is exemplary: The soy bottle is protected by compostable cardboard from the packaging. Brilliant! And ready to burn in a fire pit.The makers also sent me samples of Pho broth, which I did not order but appreciated nonetheless.As for the sauce itself? It tastes like soy. I'm not particular about soy sauces; my girlfriend loves soy sauce and I carry none. This was one of the first result on Amazon and I'm glad I ordered it.

So,I ordered the soy sauce because my friend has an allergy, and I was super surprised to open the box and find extra goodies and really cool recycled packaging.Points for being sustainable and making sure my bottle wasn’t broken in transit with the fragile marker on the box.I also appreciate the broths and the seaweed, we are gonna try them soon.1000/10 would recommend!And to the company,thank you so much guys!You made my day,it was very sweet.
