Seems today that physical and mechanical theft deterrent is imperative! This item is easily used, fits the steering wheel easily and provides a visible deterrent to a “casual “ thief. Compact so easily stored in the car

I've tried a few different "Steering locks" over time and never have I met one that LOCKS the steering.Like this model, they would make the car difficult or impossible to steer normally. This model is easy to use, fits my steering wheel perfectly, is reasonably tough and does the job of hindering a thief, BUT would it stop a determined thief, I think not. I don't think anything will.I'm more concerned with the joyriders or casual thieves in car parks or public places.I have a good alarm and keyless entry (keys kept in sheilded wallet) plus my car is garaged when not in use. so if anyone could get into my car this T BAR lock would be just one more obstacle to overcome, so it's a deterrent and as such, is worth the outlay to me.WAIT A MINUTE............after a few days, the rubber concertina bit on the extending bar split and kept getting caught. Also, it fitted perfectly on my wheel (Fiesta ST line) I could close it completely on the wheel so it fitted snug but not tight but now it will only close sort of one notch before fully closing making the fit too loose. I've returned the lock and got a refund.

This is a really good priced steering wheel locking device. It's a perfect fit as it's fully adjustable to any thickness of steering wheels without damaging it.It's also a nice small and easy to store size which can be placed under the seat when not in use. For extra deterrent it seems like a good idea and very quick and easy to use.Not sure about the quality of it over time and daily usage, but looks and works well so far.

Good visual deterrent. Easy to fit on the Peugeot steering wheel. Probably not difficult for a determined criminal to break off but not bad for the price

A good visual deterrent……. Loose fitting though, as the steering wheel is not very thick. It works, but am not sure how sturdy it will be if someone tries to remove it without the keys. It may be better if you have a thicker steering wheel.

This lock is really sturdy and easy to take on and off. I was worried it wouldn’t fit my steering wheel but it did. It sticks out just a fraction too much but other than that it seems great.
