Super durable. Pops right back up with sand on the bottom.
DURABLE: Bought for my 4 year old son to expend some energy indoors during the winter and he loves it! So does my 13 year old son and my husband! Obviously they take it easier on it so they don't pop it but it's held up just fine! My youngest son also likes to drag it down the stairs and even tries to ride on it like a bucking bronco.WORKS RIGHT: I read a lot of reviews saying it wouldn't pop back up after hitting it. Mine does just fine. I know when we put the sand in the bottom my husband immediately flipped it over and knocked out down and it didn't come back up but we grabbed it and worked the sand around the bottom so it would even out and then it worked perfectly.ADVICE: After a lot of play, it did pop open and spill some sand but honestly that's to be expected with blow up toys...so we super glued the cap on the bottom and covered it with military duct tape. No big deal.Overall it's an awesome toy and is actually fun for all of us and is always good for some laughs. I highly recommend!

strongly-made, kids love it
Nice, thick plastic. Grateful for the double closure on the filler hole for the weighted bottom (both a press-in cap with a screw on cap over that). Grandson, age 4, loved it as soon as he saw it. Punching it, climbing on it, bouncing...you get the picture. He was quickly joined by his 7-yr-old sister. I sure hope it holds up! As for the fill material, I didn't want to use either water, too messy if the plastic tore, or sand which I'd have to drive to a home store to buy. I settled on a 5 lb. bag of rice (Kroger $3.99). I poured the rice into a measuring cup and poured it into the hole while my husband held the bopper upside down. (A funnel would have been easier, but I didn't have the right size.) It took the entire bag, 11 cups, and would have taken a bit more if I'd had more. But pumping up to top section took up any extra space remaining. A full pumping meant the bopper popped back up better after being hit. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there were NO instructions. Luckily I read the review here, the suggestions helped.

Looks great
My grandson loves it. Such fun to use it with him.Update: Cat punctured it and water went everywhere. Consider this if you have cats.

Truly fun toy but it doesn't stand up
This was a purchase for my grandson as a Christmas gift however I allow him to open a gift for my birthday which is Christmas Eve and this was the gift he chose from under the tree. Well my son was here (his uncle) my son is in his 30s and must have had a flashback to when he was a kid and he used to play with his Randy Savage wrestling man. He and my grandson had a ball playing with Buddy, then my daughter joined in and I couldn't stop laughing they played with this toys all evening all three of them. My grandson will be 3 and loves buddy, he attacks him everyday punching him jumping on arm slamming around and buddy has so far withstood the abuse. So for sturdiness/durability a definite 5 thus far, it's lasted 2 weeks after Christmas w/o any issues so far. The only problem I personally have with the toy is it doesn't stand up no matter what you do when you blow it up to capacity. For me I didn't use rice sand or water what I did was used the grow crystals I had for my plants that I mix into the soil they swell up when water hits them and I put the crystals in the little bottom part that supposed to be for weighting and add water to that. Now I can say it did stand up straight up and down and I was capable of punching him and him bouncing back up however he wasn't filled up to capacity with air and it wasn't as much fun because of that.My solution was put it in a corner and make sure that majority of the weight (water crystals) was evenly spread acrossed the bottom trying to get as much weight around the sides evenly of the toy where it will bounce back when you hit it. In truth it really didn't matter because he's going to be three and he loved it whether or not it stands up just lays on its side he plays the toy and enjoyed every moment of it. So 3 stars to Buddy

Product lasted less than 2 months after light use
Although I wanted to like the product. Something similar to what I had as a kid, this thing lasted only 2 months. I filled the bottom with distilled water to maintain weight in the pocket at the bottom and I didn't put in too much, but it leaked periodically until it found a happy balance of air and water. We used it a few times a day punching and playing. Nothing heavy use. More in passing and the young kids showing me their toughness beating on it. About 7 weeks into use, the interior bag leaked the water into the main cavity of the punching bag. Therefore there was nothing to pop the bag back up and the water just sloshed all around the interior. It's pretty much worthless at this point and we will need to throw away the whole thing before we get water all over the place. Like I said, I wanted to like it and so did the kids as it was a Christmas present, but we need to take the loss of $20+tax and move on. I don't think they have a warranty on these cheap things.

Keeps kids active
The ninja panda is the hit of the Christmas presents! Both my 5yo and 1.5yo love it. It’s a solid hour of entertainment and it wears them out which is what every parent dreams of. We filled ours with water in the base and as long as the plug is inserted and the cap is on tight, it won’t leak. It is made with thick plastic and has held up with three kids bouncing on it at the same time. I would absolutely buy this again and would recommend it to anyone with kids that have a ton of energy to burn.

Great for younger children
My grandsons (ages 3 and 6) both really enjoy this punching/kicking bag. The 3 year old wrestles with it as well, and so far it has held up to his diving tackles and rolling on the floor. Using water to hold it up really didn't work for us, so I poured sand into the base instead and that seems to work better at keeping it upright. It drew some attention during a birthday party and a lot of kindergarten-age children took turns hitting and kicking it. No problems with durability so far. We had a pump to use to inflate this (you need a pump!).
