First of all, my father had purchased and used several of these Nelson cast iron traveling sprinklers during the latter half of the 1970's, and you know what? Indeed, the Nelson 1865 'Rain Train' traveling sprinkler is built like a tank (and certainly heavy like one too). As for me, I live in a city, but I happen to have an unusually large backyard. In fact, the backyard was so large that it easily accommodated 9 fruit trees as well as a garden. As you could see from the photo, the Nelson 1865 'Rain Train' traveling sprinkler was effortlessly watering both the garden (as seen in the background) as well as the 9 fruit trees in my backyard. All of these Nelson cast iron traveling sprinklers are fully adjustable too, and you can even select the transmissions for Fast, Neutral and Slow travel. I was contacted by the owner of this business that provided the lawn tractor sprinkler (on a Saturday) to see what he could do the make sure i was 100% satisfied. He made every effort and because of this and his personal involvement I would definitely recommend. I will certainly use them again in the future.

Bought it for my wife she loves it. Works as expected.

I have a several years old one of these traveling sprinklers and it still works just fine but wanted another to reduce the watering time for our very large yard. Imagine my surprise to find that the product has been changed. The wheels on my old one are made of metal but the wheels on the new one are plastic. I doubt that the new one will last as long with the cheap plastic wheels. However, for now, it works as advertised so I'll have to see if it lasts.

The item seemed to be well made, but did not move along the hose as described.
