A Brilliant Little Amp!!
Quick Update: On the Android side, the app has received a few updates since I wrote the review. The connect and control issue has been revised and now notifications popup as the app makes the required connection and takes control of the amp. It's great to see NU-X polish this system, I'm even more satisfied (if that's possible) than when I first grabbed this gem. The app and effects really shine and make the amp just an amazing platform. Grab one and see if you don't agree!Original Review: So you know where this review is coming from, I've been a professional guitarist and musician for over 30 years. I've owned many, many amps for stage gigs, studio work, and practice/warm-up. I snapped a pic of some of my gear for reference. That said, this little guy is a real joy to play on! With the Bluetooth app, this amp can be setup on all 3 channels to your liking, and it sounds fantastic! I had mediocre hopes for this amp, and bought it because it fit a niche need I have which is just pulling out one small unit to the living room to warm up, run scales, etc, and had some rhythm setup but in. Something I don't have to plug in, has built in effects, and most importantly, SOUNDS good!!This NU-X amp actually fits the bill perfectly and I am beside myself that I finally found a practice amp that has it all and sounds great, and it's only 3W!The Bluetooth app is really what brings it all together, though it can be used fine without it, using it takes the amp to a whole other level. The app brings full control over the amp and adds many features not available with the knobs, including backing tracks, fully adjustable chorus/phaser/noise gate/delay/reverb, and the ability to save your settings on all 3 channels (clean, OD, and Distortion). All from your phone (I'm using an Android for the app, it's also available for iPhone), the app is free on either platform. But what about the sound?? It's fantastic. Listen, you're not going to gig with it, or drive a cabinet of any size, but that's not what it's designed for. It is clear, punchy, crisp, and distinct on all channels. Spend some time setting up each channel in the app and it sounds fantastic. The drums? Very cool. Simple yet flexible, it's great as an add-in. There are about 10 drum samples to choose from (metal, pop, funk, rock, etc), and they can be adjusted for speed and volume. It can also be set to metronome, great for working on scales and technique. The backing tracks? Works GREAT!! There are about 20 tracks, some are backing tracks, some are artist tracks. The artists mostly seem like Asian guys, so don't expect to see your favorite artist in there, but the tracks are solid and of varying styles. You can loop repeat them, mix em up, etc. One little glitch I'll share here was when playing the backing tracks, they played at a low volume. After about 40 minutes of this I tried to adjust it using the tiny drum volume knob on the amp, and voila!! Volume!! The app pops up your system BT volume slider when selecting a backing tracks, but sliding it up did little to increase the volume until I gave the drum volume adjuster a tiny rotation. Not really a problem, it may save you a bit of frustration though. I haven't looked into adding backing tracks to the app, but I imagine if it's not obvious it's available or will become available. Once the amp is connected to your phone via BT you can use any app to play whatever tracks you like though so again, not broken, just perhaps an extra step to keep in mind.Something else to keep in mind (because the instructions don't cover it at all) is that, when first setting up the app and getting connected to the amp, I first had to go into my phone's BT settings and find the NUX MICRO MITE, then connect. Afterward, I was able to play the backing tracks but could NOT control the amp at all. I looked and could not find anything on this anywhere. In the app, the rightmost selection is "Settings" with a BT symbol. At first nothing showed up, then finally the amp appeared in there. I still had no control over the amp but could play the tracks. I has to actually SELECT the amp by touching it's listing in the app and it turned green. At that point I could control the amp and everything came to life. So after connecting Bluetooth to the amp the first time, just turn on the amp, then fire up the app. The app will prompt you to allow the app to turn on BT. Allow it, and it sets up correctly. For the power supply, unless they provided a small nuclear or hydrogen battery, it's got it all. A 9v adapter with barrel end is provided. It's got a micro USB connection right next to it. It's got a spot for 6 AA batteries. You can always get juice to this thing! For the money, this little guy sounds great, is extremely portable, is jam packed with useful and functional features that make it an incredible value for a warm-up/practice amp. I'm probably the harshest critic when it comes to amps, you can see this in the pic. Crazy enough, this little NU-X amp earns a spot in the line up. VERY ahead of the curve, you have to give this amp a shot. You will love it if you spend a little time setting it up and set your expectations correctly.

The NUX Mighty Lite BT MKII is an exceptional portable amplifier. Its compact and lightweight design makes it perfect for practicing anywhere. It offers a wide range of features and effects, including 512 IR samples and 7 effect blocks, making it a highly versatile and fun tool for guitarists and bassists. The sound quality is impressive, especially considering its size and price. Without a doubt, an excellent option that I highly recommend for its quality and cost-effectiveness.

Full-featured, functional practice amp
Excellent practice amp with many good features. It sounds good, connects easily, and works well. It includes a rhythm/metronome, adjustable gain, volume, and equalizer, Bluetooth, and will load IRs if you need them. It works well with the phone app but can still be used without the app when needed. If it means anything, I had no regrets after buying it and using it for a while.

Great sounding amp!
Awesome little personal practice amp which I've used to record tracks as well. Tiny. I can bluetooth my computer into it and practice tunes. I don't really use the app but it does work. It's surprisingly loud for it's size but not loud enough to jam with a band unless it's in-ears. There are some neat backing tracks but they are really short. The drum tracks are cool to jam with but get old pretty quick. I use this because it's so convenient and I've ended up playing more as it's there, ready to go and quiet. Quiet enough for a late night jam but loud enough for fun. It works!

Cool little practice amp
Sounds good, even better with headphones. I unloaded all the factory presets and tried them one at a time clean and picked my favorite 7 to modify. Go to the Nuxaudio website and look under the Mighty Space. You'll find pictures of all the amp/cab modules. I've bought several modelers and none of them describe the default settings. This little guy is worth every penny. I chose it over the Blackstar because it came with the power adapter and had bluetooth, no regrets. Very Happy

Great product plus some software hints
I bought this as an away-from-home practice amp after a lot of research and I am very happy with my choice. For a small amp it has very good tone and a lot of great features built in. The user manual is sparse but has enough info to get you started and the rest is pretty intuitive. I highly recommend this amp.The Mighty Amp software is a free download and adds a lot of additional features. I found no user documentation for the software (I'm using the android version) and it took awhile for my non-techie mind to figure out how to get the amp controls to work. HINT: You MUST have location services active on your control panel as well as Bluetooth. Pair your phone with the amp per the amp's user manual. Open the software and allow access to location when it asks. Go to the settings screen (icon in the lower right corner) and and select the Mighty-Lite amp from the list of options. A box should appear listing the Mighty-Lite midi interface. Select this box, go back to main screen and have some fun. You will know you are hooked up when, for instance, you change a channel on the software interface and the physical amp changes also.
