Although the product seems relatively cheaply made, it does its job. It is lightweight and has only about a 4 to 5 ft reach, but it charged my husbands power chair just fine, I would recommend, especially if you are on a budget.

I must say I’m for the most part quite pleased with this charger replacement unit for my Jazzy power chair. I say for the most part and placed 4 stars instead of 5 for one reason. That being that the cords, the ac cord to the wall and the cord from the box to the chair’s charge connector are both to short! Yes they function however they prove to be inconvenient. I’m sure that if various individuals disabilities were known the shortage of cable afforded by design of this charging device makes its use much more difficult than it needs be. If someone is in need of replacement of a power chair charging unit that makes connection by way of a xlr connector this will do the trick indeed. Just expect short service cords.

The fast charge, small size, and low price make it great to take with you to charge a PowerChair on trips. It is much easier to find an AC outlet than a 24v charger, so you don't have to push the chair home.For home use, the PowerChair can be accidentally operated (moved) while charging (dangerous). Fast charge will reduce battery life. No switch to shut it off, so it must be unplugged from AC when not charging. Short cables.I use 2 chargers, a fully featured one at home and this one for travel.

I picked this up for my mom. I bought her a scooter and it needed a charger. This worked perfect. She is so happy to be able to go where she wants to. She even just rides around the yard in her new scooter

I had purchased what I thought was a powerful charger. There were many 2.5 amp charger but I chose the larger 5 AMP charger. It took a whole night to charge my chair when it used to take three hour. The connection on the chair end is extremely hard to insert. I would not buy again.
