I bought this for a 2-1/2 year old and thought this may be a little advanced. Since I wanted her to learn how to focus and understand that it involved matching the images, I began just having them all face up and had her begin to match up the cards. She loved it! We said what each phot was, then stacked them up two by two. So far it is very enjoyable and she is getting faster at matching the cards. We’ll get to flipping the cards over when she gets bored with the current game. Now on to the construction… these are almost 1:8” thick and are made from a good quality compressed card stock. They are well made and have very nice graphics. I believe they will last and be used for both her and her little sister. The storage box is well constructed and makes them nice for storage. I would recommend this card set to anyone that is trying to stimulate young minds!

Why do I like this so much? Because you don't have to set it up. There is no need to put four across and four down, or get it all perfect. You turn them upside down, mix, and your ready to go because they are not rectangle they can go any way they want. It's just so much faster. We also put them away as matches, so we can pull out how many we want to play with based on the number of kids playing. We have three young kids/toddlers playing with them and they have really held up. There are two were they have dented a bit, but it holds up against our troupe and that says something. My four year old has improved so much and now beats me regularly. We will buy another if this one takes a beating.

Granddaughter loves it. Made of sturdy cardboard. Easy for little hands to handle. 16 sets of matches let you choose how many to play with and you can increase or decrease depending on the age of the child.

I love the quality of these cards - they are extremely thick and sturdy. I think they'll serve us many years. And I love that there are 16 pairs. We are not using all of them at once (it's hard even for an adult to memorize 16 pairs, let alone my 3 year old), so we use 5 pairs for a game. But after a few rounds it becomes hard because our memories start getting confused with the previous rounds of the game. That's when it's a time to switch the pairs. Since there are 16 pairs, we can do 3 switches, so the game lasts for a while.I'll definitely start buying this as a gift for my friends when it's a holiday season!

These are great! I love how thick they are (they hold up well against crazy toddlers), the colors are bright/fun, and the pictures are accurate. My 28 month old does a good job when we just use 3-4 pairs at a time.
