Nawab's Secret Qorma (Korma) Masala, 50 Gm(Pack Of 2),

Tonight I tried Nawab’s Secret Qorma masala and really enjoyed it. I asked my butcher to cut each lamb shank into three and had about 1.5kgs of lamb on bones. I used full packet and it came out excellent. Recipe suggests to use poppy seed paste and almonds paste at the final step. I had soaked 1 large spoon of poppy seeds and about 25 blanched skin less almond in cold water. I blitzed them in wet grinder with half a cup of milk and added along with few drops of Kewra essence at the final step. I also finished it with about 100 mil of thickened cream.Australian lamb is very oily, I removed all oil that was was floating at the top. I did not use excessive oil as recommended at the first step.I did not find it excessively salty or spicy, although I used more quantity of meat and addition of generous quantity of almond paste and cream may have produced delicate mild flavour. This product is strongly recommended.

So this was definitely restaurant quality. However just one con that can be thankfully modified is the amount of oil they ask you to put. Reduce it to 3/4th or lesser if possible. Else it really does the job.

Awesome and perfect qorma masala for quantity of 1kg. Nothing to add any extra masala not even salt. It is a perfect blend and tastes very good.

The spice blend is great but across the Nawab line, the chilli proportion is simply too high and unlike any Lucknowi/Awadhi cuisine. Please moderate the chillies!

I am a homechef and love to prepare variety of foods at home. This quorma masala is very flavourful. I use it to cook both mutton and chicken dishes. The masala definitely enhances the flavour of the dish.
