I paid $268.00 for this watch.1. When I opened the container I immediately realized that this "watch" was not designed or meant as a time piece. It was meant as a jewelry piece, a conversation starter: It is beautiful and stylish alright, but the hands are so thin, so perfectly polished, that they act like mirrors, reflecting whatever is in front of them. So, if I am wearing a dark jacket I CANNOT SEE THE HANDS AGAINST THE BLACK BACKGROUND because the hands perfectly reflect my dark jacket.This is terrible, thoughtless, mindless design.Moreover, the hands, while elegant and perfectly machined and polished, are barely thicker than a human's hair (about 3 times thicker than a hair I've just pulled out of my scalp).Do the math: Ultra thin perfectly polished hands reflecting everything like a mirror. Good luck trying to tell time, say, in a bar with darker surroundings and dimmed ambient lighting. But you will have trouble seeing the hands anywhere any time. There are no glowing hands and there is no back-lighting. Don't believe me? Go ahead and buy this watch right now.2. But it gets worse. I bought this watch for myself (with the metal bracelet) and another one for a friend (with a leather bracelet). I don't know yet how his leather bracelet is holding up, but my METAL bracelet's clasp has lost all its "rose gold" beauty after ONE DAY IN THE OFFICE: I now see regular stainless steel where some five hours ago rose gold shone.Verdict: IT LOOKS GOOD (out of the box). Wanna impress the ladies and use this as a conversation-starter piece? Go ahead. Just make sure you wear it for VERY special occasions only. Wanna use this thing as a watch?
