Pretty Good
The full size of the sword in the scabbard is actually about 5' 10''. The blade gets dirty if you leave it in the scabbard. I'd recommend for cleaning to just put a thin layer of wd-40 all over the blade. Wouldn't recommend hitting anything with it, as it can dent easily, but a good sword for display.

The bigger, the better
I purchased this for that sword aficionado in my life. Who wouldn't want a giant freakin' sword. For the price, you can't expect perfection, but it is better than I though it would be. It is solid and fun to swing around haphazardly. I wouldn't recommend hacking on anything with it, but its still fun. If you have short t-rex arms, unsheathing it might be a monumental challenge. Speaking of the sheath, (is that the right word? Don't care.) it does leave some residue, possibly wax, on the blade for a while. Not a huge deal, I just used some alcohol and a rag to wipe it off as needed. Would I buy it again? Heck yes!

Best to hang on the wall on a rack.
I bought it for my Grandsons collection at his specific request for a Stainless Steel Japanese Odachi Samurai Sword. It will hang on the wall on a rack with other swords. I think this is the ONLY Japanese Odachi Samurai Sword you will find that has a Stainless Steel blade. The sword arrived undamaged even though the carton was broken down and bent and the foam blocks in which the sword was suspended were broken. I would not recommend actually attempting to use this sword.

Blade came stuck and dirty
I saw the reviews and thought ok it looks legit enough. Ordered it got it today. Had to pull pretty damn hard to get it out of its scabbard. The blade was covered in a weird gunk. No idea im gonna try to clean it later

Good looks, impressive size, commands huge respect
This sword and its size are impressive. Would be great for display. The steel claimed to be used in the construction would make it suitable for light cutting. I have not tested that however.

Spend a little extra if you plan to actually use this fine looking wall hanger
Very flimsy. Show piece only. Looks descent. I returned It promptly. Felt the handle start to crack. But luckily I compensated the strike with no damage. I will have full tang only from now on.

Broken sword
Gave this as a gift, came to find out the handle was busted and missing an emblem. The blade was scratched up. I would try a different company for another odachi.
