Meat arrived at 80° and the ice packs were melted. There isn't an option to leave zero stars and be warned the customer is as bad as the product.

Although this a far shipped item, I love Gyros, and want to make my own at home. This meat is not fatty. It cooks evenly, and does not get crunchy around the edges like some others I have tried. A generous portion in the box.I literally have replaced by bacon with thisIt is also not to spicy so you cal really taste the meat. I Wil buy again

I picked it up from Post office 9 days after it was sent. I was concerned it was bad because it wasn't frozen anymore. Fried it up and tasted one and I knew I might get botulism but didn't. Thank god. Anyway, it does not taste like gyros at all. A little pepper heavy and too little spice..if at all. Save your money and buy ground beef or pork and spices...then make your own. You will be happier with the product you make!!!!!!

This meat was wrapped in freezer packs and then wrapped and taped in thermal bubble wrap. Freezer pack were still 59% frozen when opened. Flavor and texture of meat was great. I will buy this product again

I received my package after paying a heavy shipping charge.s much as the item. When I received it was in a cardboard box with packing noodles and a hot ice pack wrapped in cellophane needless to say the meat went bad when I contacted Parthenon meats they refused to do anything to make it right. Do not buy this. I threw away 40$. In bad meat

Gyro meat arrived cold in vacuum packs surrounded with ice packs. 1 meat pack had lost is vacuum seal. Contacted the company Parthenon Foods. A representative assured me that gyro meat was quality packed there and the meat was safe to consume and that the ice packs are sharp and probably punctured the package. The meat from the sealed packs was excellent along with the cucumber sauce. The meat from the sealed packs is 4-5 star worthy for taste, but I would not eat meat from a package that lost its vacuum seal. I wish the rep would have at least offered to send me another sealed pack. A loss of freshness is a loss of appeal.
