V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless Codex Edition with Qualcomm Aptx And Aac - Matte White

I unboxed and tried this when it arrived at the office, and is it a hit with everyone cos I couldn't stop saying WOW.I was looking for a pair of headphones best suited for rock/heavy metal music as, to be completely honest, is 95% of what I listen to and I am finally happy to say I found the best headphones for this after a long search!They are insanely comfortable, not too tight at all as I've read somewhere before and I personally love the fact you don't need to rely on ANC for noise isolation since this not only causes a loss in sound quality but the pressure gives me bad headaches. Sound quality was key for me as I listen to music a lot, including at the office. These have a great volume level, no need to be too loud bothering whoever's sitting next to me and sill blocking most of the noise out. It won't isolate it completely but even whilst on the tube, it does an amazing job at keeping the annoying screeching down.It is great to wear for long periods of time, I haven't had to to remove them at some point just to let my ears breathe as I've had to in the past.I went for the matte white and they're stunning and I can definitely see the durability in these. I have an iPhone and I'm happy I saved up for it, I'm always on wireless and the quality is superb with the AAC.Can't say enough great things about it, if you're undecided you won't regret going for these. Trust me.

I absolutely love those headphones and they are gorgeous too, love the no gap on the head.I cannot stand most headphones for being so bulky and too big.The good: amazinng design and not bulky like so many other headphones. Very well built.Sound on Bluetooth has volume high enough and it is very clear, strong tight bass. There is a clear sound separation and balanced high and lows. You can hear sounds that disappear on other phones.Cons: more spatial soundstage is to be desired.A bit of Bluetooth hiccups but not too much to be an issue.I do wish they were designed more with female head on mind when building the headband minimum capacity around the ears because they do slide a bit down the ears more than I would like, but it is just wishful thinking.Overall: for the 200€ price tag that I picked this up, they are the best I could find and tick all boxes for me.

I have never owned a pair of V-MODA headphones before so this was a bit of a voyage of discovery in terms of more expensive headphones and the difference in sound quality that they provide compared to cheaper headphones we have previously owned.Firstly the packaging for these headphones is fantastic, really well designed and a little unusual. Once you open the package you find the headphones settled nicely in a solid case. The headphones fold down so that when carrying them in the case they do not take up much space and are very well protected. The case also has a special section of elasticated bands which hold cables etc so that everything is together.The headphones are extremely well designed and built to last. They are very sturdy and much stronger than others we have owned before. They are easy to adjust for different head sizes and are extremely comfortable for me to wear. My other half found them to be a little less comfortable than me but can still wear them for decent periods of time before them become uncomfortable. They are easy to use and have three control buttons which are conveniently located to reach easily. They are quick and simple to charge and a single charge really does last well. They also come supplied with all the cables and adapters you will need.When using the headphones the sound quality is really fantastic. We have tested using different music genres to make sure that the quality remains across the board and have been hugely pleased with the results. The bass is great and trebles come through as a really clear and clean sound. This means that my listening experience has been hugely improved from our previous headphones. Tracks I thought I knew well have new elements coming through giving a completely new experience.As these are wireless i was a little worried about whether there would be any sort of interference in the sound such as a hiss or delay if using with a video but we have not found this to be the case. There is no hissing and I have not noticed any delays with speech when using with videos. I have found that external noise is not completely cancelled out but it is dulled enough to ensure it doesn't interfere with the listening experience. I actually really like this as I do not like being out and completely cut off from the world around me - particularly in urban areas when I need to be aware of traffic etc.Obviously the price tag for these headphones is pretty hefty but you get what you pay for in this case. A vastly superior design and quality compared to cheaper models with a sound quality that is hugely impressive. If you are in the market for a cordless pair of headphones and have the budget then i would not hesitate to recommend these.
