Love these, colors are very vibrant, blends well and looks beautiful. Can be a bit chalky and definitely messy, I recommend either an apron or a drop cloth to keep the dust from getting on everything. Worth the money, will buy again.

SO, I'm a miniature painter. I construct models for people on a regular basis and often times think about what my supplies actually are. In this case I was looking for earth tone pigments I could use to weather terrain and bases on my models. Most of the time model companies charge quiet a lot for pigments that are for Wargame or Miniature painting. But stopping to think about what those actually are lead me to looking for soft artist pastels, you get these cut the paper off them grab a makeup sponge and will find yourself pleasantly surprised. I just finished some basing and dry brushing on a commission with these and found them to be exemplary. I will more than likely expand my pigment collection significantly with these and use them regularly.

These arrived in great condition- which I am learning is an issue when ordering pastels. They have nice pigment and blend well overall. Some of the colors are a bit scratchy and require a bit of work to blend out smoothly- but it’s workable. These will be a fun addition to my supply.

I am new to using chalk pastels and love these! They are soft, easy to use, easy to blend and vibrant. I highly recommend these for anyone, beginner or not. I personally use them to create in depth shading on model figurines I paint but have also used them on paper a few times and they work great!

Excellent collection of colors to capture most earth tones. I'm using them for miniature bases pigments and this is too notch.
