Good, Affordable Basic Phone
My requirements for a cordless landline phone were the most basic and this phone fulfills them to a T. The phone is easy to set up and since panasonic has been churning out cordless phones since before the internet, they have paid attention to the small details which makes installing this phone a pleasure. The option of wall mounting the phone is useful, but unfortunately I found that it sitting on a table top looked better than wall mounting. This phone has only one connection to a hardline i.e. only one line. The power socket and the inlet are at the bottom of the base with clearly distinct wire holding channels, which ensure that the wires are protected. The base is quite basic, with just a single locator button and a plastic body. However the finish is good and the metallic sheen paint ensures it does not look plastic-ky(sic?). The handset is ergonomic and fits comfortably in my hand and ear during calls. The inclusion of a rear speakerphone ensures I can hear calls over background music. Still discovering the features and functions of the handset, but the most used feature by me right now is the alarm function. Scheduling calls has been made so much more convenient. The phone offers a phonebook option limited to 50 names (Out of which I am using around 10 and don't see myself running for extra space). The standby time for the phone I found to be quite impressive after a full charge. I believe i am a moderate user, with a talktime of around 2-4 hr per day, the battery needs to be charged once every 8-9 days. I did not get the chance to test the range of the instrument, however it performs brilliantly even at the farthest corners of the house with many obstacles in the way.TL;DRPros:1. Pricing2. Easy to Install3. Good Battery Life for moderate use ~2-4 hr per day requires a weekly charge.4. Clear sound quality and good speakerphone.5. Useful basic features6. Minimalist design and good looking set.7. Ergonomic and comfortable handset.Cons:1. Lacks current technology like DECT, Bluetooth etc. which are available in higher end phones.2. Plastic body which seems as it offers minimal protection from falls.Bottom Line: The phone is excellent for moderate use with competitive pricing, although paying a premium for the Panasonic brand (Which has been making phones since forever). Totally worth the extra money.Although this phone doesn't have the latest technology with regards to DECT, Bluetooth and Wireless Interfacing. As Interesting and expanded functionality these additions sound, I am of the opinion that any smartphone is capable of providing the same experiences (E.g. Bluetooth enabled skype calls on the landline appear jaded after a while and I would probably have not used it more than a month.). Additionally, it works on the 2.4GHz band, I found no interference with my wi-fi modem/router, which relieves the need to have DECT.

Amazing phone with one drawback
Pros:Look, Sound quality and coverageCons:Caller id not workable with jio fibre (or may be with landline service provider also in India)Panasonic cordless phone work on FSL caller id technology whereas India follows DTMF caller id technology, hence caller id will not workTo make this happen you need FSK TO DTMF CALLER ID CONVERTOR which is also not available in market (including online)

Great Product if bought at good price.
1. Got the product at good price 3050₹ (MRP mentioned on box is 3800₹) from ABC Enterprise Seller on Amazon.2. Product is brand new and Box was also intact.3. Speaker and earpiece both gives crispy and clear voice. Loudspeaker gives more loudsond then my smartphone speaker.4. Display is around 2 inches and buttons are quite comfortable to press. Display and buttons both having backlight. Labeling on buttons is also quite big. Elders will be easily able to use it as display and buttons labeling both are good in size.5. Stores 100 contacts.6. Battery life is good. I have used it only for 1 day.7. Coverage is quite good. On 1st floor or even in second floor there is no any distortion/noise or breaking of voice.8. I'm using Airtel fiber connection. When I call from telephone to mobile it takes around 15 seconds to join the call. Mobile to telephone calls connects instantly.9. Calls does not have any distortion/notices/ voice breaks. Voices are clear during calls.10. Matt subtle shining Silver colour is looking really elegant compared to black colour(earlier I had perseption that silver color will look more like kinda old telephones).

Default clock is late (faulty inbuilt clock)
Clock is not calibrated properly. It is late by one minute per day. Got to know this after return period is over. Panasonic, being a premium brand should keep these things in mind while clearing their products for selling. Now I don't know whom to approach.Otherwise, phone is decent, although it is a bit of overpriced comparing today's cellular phones and the facilities they provide. Ring volume is also not very loud. Coverage area from thr base is good though, covering almost 500sq. Ft

Not a Durable Product - Cheap Quality
I bought it after seeing many reviews and especially by seeing the 'Panasonic' Brand. It worked for the initial year with a few small issues. However, later it started giving problems with sound quality. Soon the dial pad buttons become tough to use and made it almost useless.Disappointing experience for a brand like Panasonic. I would not recommend this product.

its performance is excellent, far beyond my expectations
Panasonic KX-TG3711SX Cordless Phone (Silver), booked by me on 28 Dec 2015 for INR 2449 as an Amazon fulfilled order, was delivered with astounding promptness on 31 Dec 2015, An aesthetic, compact, user friendly and handy product, its performance is excellent, far beyond my expectations, and well aligned with my needs. The icing on the cake is that it works even during electricity failure. It consumes very less power, does NOT drain the batteries and lasts quite long on one charge. It has given me a lot of comfort, improved my quality of life immensely and is my proud possession. True value for money. The only sore point, perhaps an aberration, is that it was delivered without the handset cover and the batteries. However, hats off to Amazon, which lived up to its customer centricity and service, particularly for Amazon fulfilled orders, and instantly resolved the issue through quality substitutes. My personal suggestion is that a battery charger be included with the product. Thank you Amazon, and I look forward to more such quality products on your website.
