STANLEY 84-369-1-23 254mm Bi Material Handle Curved Jaw Locking Pliers

This is an amazing product. I love it. Its much better than what I expected.Its solid and its heavy. It is more than enough to do its job and then some.I needed this mainly to hold things steady from one end while I cut or drill or grind whatever it is I am working on. And sometimes to lock a stubborn nut or a bolt while I wrestle with its other end.The body is very heavy gauge and the jaws are solid. Far more sturdier than some really heavy pliers and vise-heads. The locking mechanism allows you to turn the knob for setting the pressure the jaws grip with. This is indispensable when you face uncooperative work-pieces.All in all, this is a wonderful addition to my tool-kit. Now that I have it, I don't know how I did without it.If you are looking for a Jaw Locking Pair of Pliers, look no further, this is the one. Highly recommended.

I bought it for butt connector cimping. It is working fine; big levers give you excellent leverage. Gives you perfect crimping. Good plier for this price range, but it is not going to last long. Made out of carbon steel of low grade I guess; seems like low carbon steel as it started to rust. There is no other plier with this much features and this price range. Simply, go for it.

The media could not be loaded. Functional and practical to use for several uses. Very sturdy and smooth but a bit stiff maybe because it is still new. Easy to use to cut wires (very sharp) and strip wires and crimping is also easy. I would recommend to my friends. Mind you that it should be used with Right hand only, i tried with my left hand and unable to strip wires.

Looks extremely sturdy. Very nice grip and metal quality. But sometimes it is difficult to use the wire strippers because they are located near the grips. So you need some clearance in front. It is difficult when you use it in a already installed switchboard on the wall.

This absolutely of no use.This can be compared with a wire cutter, even then buy a simple wire cutter, because this tool is not good for wire cutter as well coz its so heavy and uncomfortable to use for even wire cutting. Its very thin hence you cannot use it for crimping as it does not have proper hook support.Use it as weight if return window is closed for you also.

Initially I purchased Taparia, but its tip was bent and defective. So, I returned and purchased this Stanley. This one is good, but one tip is slightly thicker. But I was able to use it to remove circlip of Yamaha FZ brake master cylinder. This is good, but I expected better from Stanley.

Hello...Its really a good crimper.Wire Stripping,Wire Cutter & Lug crimping functions are upto the mark.Need Practice & Read user guide properly before using the crimper.Thanks
