Did you know you can hard boil eggs in an air fryer?
Easy to use, once I learned how the temp and time buttons work. Hard boiled eggs in 13 minutes at 250 degrees (haven’t tried soft boiled yet). No cleanup needed. I did buy a liner pan with bail handle to fit this unit. The liner makes cleanup easy — just remember to use tongs to pluck it out — it’s HOT! I have reheated pizza and toasted baguette slices in it, among many other things. Much better for crispy pizza slices than the microwave.

Very pleased with performance
This is actually the 2nd air fryer I purchased. I purchased one for myself several months back and purchased this one as a Housewarming gift for a family member. It is very easy to use and clean. There are some pre-programmed settings; however, these can be tailored to whatever is being air-fried. The basket easily "unlocks" from the outer portion for easy cleaning. Initially I was concerned about enamel or coatings "chipping" but the basket that the food goes into is not coated.

Great air fryer to use daily
I just brought a oven with an air fryer. But, this one right here is convenient when you don't want to turn the oven on and make the whole house hot. Specially during hot summer days. I highly, highly recommend.

Cheaper/Poor Customer Service/Unit Also Caught on Fire
Worked great for a while, the basket inside rusts pretty quickly though. More importantly I started noticing my food being burnt. One day when I plugged it in (before I turned it on or put the basket in) the heater turned on. I was preparing the food so didn’t realize it for about 3 mins. Realized temperature gauge didn’t work (wouldn’t turn off if set at 300, just kept getting hotter). If I just plugged it in and walked away it honestly could have caught on fire. Customer support fought me for Proof of Purchase for 4 weeks, didn’t show any concern about the severity of the unit overheating then told me they would just get me free shipping on another unit. Will NEVER buy Hamilton Beach again due to their customer service and lack of communication/honoring their product.

RIP in under two years...
Loved this air fryer in the beginning. It took a little longer to cook most things than an air fryer recipe called for, but it wasn't a big deal. It also has a smaller basket than most so you can't use any of the accessory kits out there. The paint did start flaking off soon after we got it and it wasn't in any way non stick. It just died and wasn't even two years old. We did use it a lot, sometimes more than once a day, so I guess for the price it was okay, but will not buy again. Good for beginners but not a workhorse for prolonged use.
