Not just value
I'm posting a text I sent to my nephew about Yardley:I have a preliminary recommendation on soap. I really like to have a nice soap. Obviously, Molton Brown is great, smells good, goes on nicely, all that, but it’s absurdly expensive and is a luxury only. I tried two bar soap brands, Squatch and Native, both of which are premium, organic soaps. Both of them were great initially: they smelled good and foamed beautifully. But after a few uses, both those qualities began to fade. And they’re 8 and 12 bucks a bar, which is quite expensive when you can get Ivory or Dial for a fraction of that. I gave up on that and just went with Oil of Olay or some others, which were perfectly fine. I was on the verge of running out and did a search on Amazon and found Yardley. It’s an English brand that’s been around forever and I’ve known about it for years because a friend’s mom was English and used to stock the bathroom with it. But I never used it until now. It’s fantastic (so far)! It’s got a rich foam, a great smell, and it makes your skin so clean that if you run your finger along your arm (or elswhere) your finger will skip like a winshield wiper does because it’s taken off all the oils (maybe that becomes a problem in the winter?). I just need to see if it still foams well after a couple of weeks, but at 2 bucks a bar, I won’t even care. And I will force you to take a bar when you come here.

She loves it
I rather use Kids Aveno Products but she love her bars of soap .

For Verbena Lovers
Decent scented soaps can be pricy, but Yardley's is a great buy, and the verbena scent is vibrant and lasts to the very end of the bar. It's hard to find in stores, so I'm happy to find it here.

Refreshing Scent
I love the scent of this soap. It cleans well enough but it tends to leave my skin a little dry. But most bar soaps tend to do this.

Like fresh lemons
The scent is like fresh cut lemon. Doesn’t dry out my skin.

My grandmother would love it.
Meh. I was hoping for something clean and fresh smelling. Maybe i just didn’t know what verbena was but if you were a kid in the 80s this is what grandma shelled like

Incredible smell at a great price
My children and I have been watching "Little House on the Prairie," and Laura always talks about the scent of lemon verbena. I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my kids, hoping it would smell good, and it really paid off. It smells divine, and my daughter said, "Now I know why Laura wants to smell like Miss Beadle!" :)

If you want something remotely lemon scented, this is NOT it.
This soap smelled so bad even my husband wanted to throw it away, and he doesn't have a sense of smell. It was a surprise because Yardley lavender soap smells pretty good.We bagged it and threw it in the garbage.

Yardley Verbena soap is very smooth and fragrant.
A great soap to use. Very smooth (I often wet shave using it) and fragrant. The shape of the bar is easy to handle when wet, and minimizes contact with the soap dish when not in use. I highly recommend it.

Packaging damaged.
On arrival, the packaging was open and very shabby. Looked like shelf or shop samples. No covering on the soaps themselves.

Makes me want to throw up
Used only once, has a very strong artificial smell that is not pleasant.
