Works perfectly
I bought to replace the faulty trans fluid pressure sensor switch A (code P0843) on my 2009 Honda Civic. The code and check engine light went off and It’s shifting normally now. The sensor also comes with the rubber o-ring.

Fixed p0848 on 2010 Honda civic.
Worked great to fix the p0848. Direct fit.FYI - you’ll need a stubby 22 mil wrench due to lack of space.

Do not buy
This replacement sensor did not work. I had to buy an oem from amazon and that worked.

Inexpensive but got the job done
Fixed the Transmission issue on my 2011 Civic. Easy to get to outside the transmission. Use a 22 mm or better yet an adjustable wrench works even better.

Code came off the same day
This is the same switch that is used for the 2nd and the 3rd pressure switch for 8th Gen Civic transmission. The 2nd switch is a pain to replace only because you have to take of the air box and it's a pant to get off and more of a pain to get back on. Other than that it's pretty easy. Put this baby in and to work and back and my code cleared itself.

P0843 Error Code Honda Civic 2009
I was driving when I my CEL came on, took it to autozone got the code read. 2nd clutch transmission fluid pressure switch had thrown an error. The symptoms were car not shifting into third gear, the dreaded honda flashing "d" and a weird burning smell. Found this part on amazon, ordered it with one day shipping. Installation is a doozy, only because removing the air filter box is very difficult. There are videos on youtube that show the location of the switch. I plugged it in, put my car back together and it works perfectly again. Amazing!
