Fantastic for Pain/Inflammation/High Cholesterol 💙
😀 This Ceylon Cinnamon powder is excellent, and it tastes sweet and divine. Ceylon has great health benefits, and I partly got it to help lower my dad's cholesterol. I have ceylon cinnamon sticks that I grind down to use in my herbal tea blends, but they don't taste half as smooth, sweet, and rich as this powder does.I love Kiva, because they simply have some of the best quality health food products. I'm especially fond of their impeccable, delicious, immune-boosting Manuka Honey, which cured me completely of my sinus staph infection (when antibiotics failed to do so). I mixed both the honey and this cinnamon into my tea, but it stayed grainy and floated in pieces. Otherwise, it tastes really good, and I know I'm doing my body a favor every time I eat ceylon cinnamon.I also like the large, tall size and convenience of this easy to use, easy grip bottle. You can choose to sprinkle the cinnamon out, or to scoop it out, as you can see in my picture. The price was reasonable, and I have zero complaints. It makes me want to get more Kiva health products. I'm a fan, and you probably will be too. This is high quality cinnamon.Update: Cinnamon has warming, anti-inflammatory properties, and I decided to give those properties a whirl. I added this powder to a pain relief supplement blend and made about 100 capsules.. and I'm really glad I did! I used licorice, wild yam, butterbur, holy basil, feverfew, and this ceylon cinnamon powder. Before she left for work today, I gave 1 size 00 capsule to my mom to help her with her arthritis and resulting pain and inflammation. After work, she was zipping around comfortably, elated and laughing with pure joy, without her usual heavy limp and exhaustion. The change was night and day, and I believe this cinnamon played a part. It was practically a miracle, and we are all shocked and amazed. I will continue using this cinnamon for as long as it takes, and obviously, so will my mom. She literally appeared, felt, and seemed 20 years younger. Who knew medicine could taste and smell so good?!

Very Impressed!
I was a little skeptical after reading some of the bad reviews, but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality, quantity and price. I use a lot of ceylon cinnamon for health reasons and was having a hard time finding my usual brand and it's price had skyrocketed! So I ordered this Kiva Organic and am happy I chose this one this time. The scent is very sweet and I can smell it as I open the bag. The color is a nice brown color. The taste is mild, but from what I understand most ceylon cinnamon is mild in comparison to cassia or saigon. I was very happy with the fine texture, it was not like sawdust which happened with another bulk brand I bought last year. It mixes very easily into coffee, matcha, smoothies, oats, anything really. No cinnamon will ever dissolve completely, but this is fine enough to put in drinks or sprinkle on toast and not be able to feel any texture. I consume this product daily and like the price for the quantity. My bag expires in 2 years, but I will definitely use it up way before then and reorder.

Ceylon Cinnamon for Clear Skin
I love cinnamon in my coffee, but after battling acne for years, recently discovered that my cinnamon was compromising my liver with a buildup of coumarin (my opinion- not medically verified). After making a few dietary changes based on information I gleaned from the internet, I've added a little rosemary (herb to clean the liver) to my diet, and started using Ceylon Cinnamon. This one is a good value, and it has a good mild flavor, with none of the coumarin that is present in the strong flavored Saigon Cinnamon and Chinese Cinnamon. Cinnamon is regulated in many European countries, but not the USA. This one is a much more safe alternative. My liver is probably functioning much better, and I base that on my skin. When the liver is compromised, the blood is filtered through the skin instead of the liver. I have been to several doctors over the past 10 years, and each time was given antibiotics with admonitions about self-care and blah-blah-blah. Antibiotics probably made my acne even worse for all the heavy metals introduced. For the first time in years, my skin looks and feels normal. Self-diagnosed and self-treated.

Great taste
This is a great cinnamon. The flavor is really mild. I use it to spice up my oatmeal, tea for backing etc. and it works great. I ordered this one as cinnamon from Ceylon has apparently more of the healthy properties. Love it and can recommend it.

Good flavor
I wanted to try this product. I usually buy cinnamon out the store whether it’s off brand or on sale. The flavor was more milder than I expected, but it works great for baking.

Finally found Ceylon cinnamon!
I couldn’t find Ceylon Cinnamon locally but Amazon came to the rescue! This is a good product delivered in a timely fashion. Very happy with my purchase.

No flavor, no scent, coarse grind, stale bark?
My first negative review on Amazon:My usual brand (Terrasoul Organic Ceylon) was not available to order and after an hour of reading reviews trying to find a comparable Ceylon I landed on Kiva. Fortunately I didn't purchase more than the 8 ounce size (I usually purchase 1 pound in Terrasoul) because this Ceylon is not usable or returnable via Amazon.I purchased this Wednesday, 7/10/19, recieved it Thursday and opened it Friday morning for my coffee. Nope. Couldn't use it, didn't trust it.There is little to no fragrance, almost no taste AT ALL, let alone cinnamon and it's a coarser grind than Terrasoul. There is not a hint of Ceylon so I doubt it's actually 100% pure Ceylon and tastes like ground up dried and stale bark of some kind.So as to have backup in my gripe, I asked my partner to smell and taste the Kiva Ceylon. He also couldn't smell or taste anything. I then gave him my empty jar of Terrasoul Ceylon to whiff and smear his finger for some residue to taste. YEP, he got the cinnamon then.Soooo, I guess I'll visit the Terrasoul website or find their brand elsewhere and chalk this one up to money and and time lost. I'm very disappointed.
