Defender of the Universe!
Real talk guys and gals themselves they and whatever this set is awesome. No cap you can't make a better diy put it together yourself 80s feel good vibe than to pull out voltron. You can play with him! All my lego folks no what that means. Articulation requires you to be intentionally moving it. We all have built some cool lego models but can't play with them without having to rebuild stuff. This one you can play with. But on the down low the Yello is the most fun to put together....Ok a week later and still playing with it! Get it for the 80s man in your life.

Fun to build like many other sets.
Growing up I dont remember hearing of voltron so must have been before my time or I never knew about the show in general I was a Batman series fan and Beast wars was like transformers. Would have liked to build a Optimus Prime like this big but never saw one available this big anyway. Kreo has a much smaller and less detailed set of Optimus Prime but better than nothing I guess. So never heard of voltron until saw this but glad a decided to buy and build and its was time consuming but they are fun to build. I have built many of the Lego expert creator builds as the idea builds like this one and the newer Statue of Liberty was fun also. I built a lot of Batman sets too so to say I’m a fan it’s an understatement.

My 8 year-old declared it "Best LEGO set ever!"
My son was intrigued by a legitimate "Transformer" lego set, and as a fan of the Netflix series this was a must-have set. What makes it special is how much the finished Voltron looks like a regular toy, since almost all the tell-tale LEGO studs are covered up with smooth flat pieces. Another bonus is that the assembly sequence allows you to build each lion separately, so my son would build one, play with it, and then "Voltronize him" (put him in his transformed state) to await the rest of the pieces. It is an expensive set, but well worth it.

Big Bold Bright Build
Great kit! The colors are spot on and it captures plenty of the features of the individual lions. It's much bigger than I thought it would be.Only improvement I would have liked would be including the back/side and mouth weapons for the individual lions, but not including them isn't even worth reducing the rating by a fraction of a star.

Well done, Lego!
I grew up in the 80’s with Saturday morning cartoons, watching Voltron on TV. Upon seeing this at the LEGO store, it automatically flooded me with childhood memories.I bought this not only due to the reminiscent nature but to spend time with my children. At first, it seemed a bit daunting but the instructions were relatively easy to follow. All-in-all, it probably took 4 hours to build. I think I’m going to have to reclaim this from my kids and put it on a shelf in my office.

AMAZING Retro 80s! and fun to slow build.
This Lego kit was epic. I highly encourage slow building this kit as each lion is a unique build with its own instructions that takes about 45 to 90 minutes for the average 10 year old. We built one lion a day and looked forward to the final build of Voltron on day 5. If you grew up watching the 80s show you will not be disappointed.

Great set for fans of Legos and Transformers
This is the perfect set for our son who LOVES Legos and Transformers. He is really too young to do this set on his own (he's only 6), but with adult help and several days of assembly, we were able to finish this set. My son is pretty mechanically inclined, so he's able to take everything apart into the 5 individual lions and also reassemble it back into Voltron. He really enjoyed putting this together and he loves playing with it with his other transformer toys.
