Q: How can I tell which is the front and which side is the back? This sucks.

When I looked at it the first time, I thought the same thing, but if you look closely, the vinyl side has a slight texture to it while the paper side is perfectly smooth. If you can't tell by feel, then try peeling the backing paper off (but just a little, then stick it back again). This will tell you which is the sticky (Vinyl) side.

Q: Does this remain water and smudge proof after months of use? Thanks!

As far as I can tell. However, to be on the safe side, I give it a light spray of clear lacquer.

Q: Can I use it for wall decals? Are they removable and won't leave a residue if removed? Can they be reused?

Sure, they are easy to remove and won't leave a residue. They stick very well, start bending sticker crooked can be readjusted, stick well tear off will hurt the sticker, can not be reused.

Q: I’ve order twice and one was thicker and better quality then the 2nd order due to backing paper (not the sticker vinyl) but the back was way to thin?

The thin version you received should be the previous version, and their print faces are all the same.
