Q: Are they gluten free?

They are gluten free. Says it right on the individually wrapped packages and on the back of the box. The Goo Goo Pecan Clusters allergens: Milk, Pecans, Soy. The Original Clusters allergens: Milk, Soy

Q: Are these candies shipped refrigerated during the hot summer months?

Nope....just got mine (it’s June here in Arizona) and they are old and dried out milk chocolate is white....they do not take returns.

Q: I'm really worried, these have been in the mail for days and days already, and I live in a very warm climate. Will these come a melted hot mess??

Chocolate products of any type should normally not be ordered during the hot months of the year. It is usually OK during cooler weather. Amazon Prime normally only takes a few days for delivery. I ordered a box of Rocky Road bars last fall (chocolate covered marshmallow), and they were OK. I have ordered specialty chocolate products for Christmas, and never had a problem.
