No,it meet EN 812:2012 Standard,but not designed to meet ANSIZ89.1-2009 Standard, Type I, Class C, G & E for industrial head protection.Use only to protect from minor bumps and scalp lacerations.Baseball bump cap with solid internal cover for protection against knocks and grazes. A must have for Mechanics, Under-car techs, Factory workers, Low clearance areas and more. Thank you !

It is not a hard hat and not advertised as such. If you need a hard hat for work, this is not acceptable. It is very good for working in confined spaces or anywhere you might want bump protection.
