Q: Is this stuff supposed to be a spray? Mine just squirted out a stream, which isn't what I wanted.

I just tested mine it sprays out in a stream when you push the button, but if you push it all the way it changes to a spray

Q: Does it kill spiders too?

May need to spray several times.

When you are standing (I'm 5 ft. 3 in.) it sprays about 3-4 feet in front of you. I have not tried spraying up but would imagine it would be about the same distance. Hope this helps you, snorkie
