UPDATE: The dolly makes moving large logs with little effort
This dolly makes moving large logs with little effort -- easy. The materials are coated to protect it from rusting. The manual was silent about the orientation of the wheels. I placed the side with the valve stem and grease fitting on the inside to protect them from damage. In addition, I lubricated the wheel axles and applied graphite lubricant to the axle wheel nuts. I hope this dolly lasts a long time. Be sure to keep it dry while in storage.UPDATE (9/29/2019): This log dolly met my needs. Hauled out 23 logs. The logs ranged from 700lbs to 1200lbs. The handle bent in two places when I pushed the limits. Took the handle to the weld shot for repair. The gray primed sections are the repaired areas. The welder reinforced the sections. The dolly is back in service and works great!

The 1-year warranty is garbage.
Pro's:Easy to assembleNot bad for the average ownerCon's:Weak stealCustomer service is non-existent. My unit broke seven days after I had it due to poor welding and weak metal. I contacted the manufacturer to capitalize on the warranty. After seven back and forth emailed and almost 11 months later, the manufacturer still hasn't sent the replacement part. At day 366, I intent to file breach of contract under the rules of "fair and honest dealings."It's not worth the price to have broken tool.

Nice but could be better.
The handle bent the first time I used it. I dont think the metal tubing on the handle is steong enough to manuever the dolly unless you have a very light load. Could be good if thisnpart is upgraded.

You can find better quality buying direct from US manufacturers or have it ...
You can find better quality buying direct from US manufacturers or have it fabricated locally, but for this price it is an excellent buy for a tool I find extremely useful. A back saver. I can wheel around an 8' 12-18 diameter log with ease - longer you can strap on a handtruck to the end.

Decent quality except the log tongs ...
Overall, the quality is what I expected for hobbyist/occasional use, although even a little overpriced. My biggest complaint so far is that the pick ends of the tongs are held in with c-clips. On the first use, a c-clip popped out and the whole log dropped. Can't find the c-clip. Going to weld the picks into the tongs so this doesn't happen at a REALLY BAD time.

Only have used it once so far. Seemed to do OK.
A storm blew a fairly straight oak tree down on my walking trail. I used this tool to move a 14' long log I had cut from it. It took two people to manage the dolly with the log loaded. We got lucky because we placed the claw perfectly at the balanced center so both ends of the log was off the ground when it was raised. Used a lawn tractor to pull it out of the woods. The only complaint is that there was a little rust at the welds. As a rust prevention, I sprayed the welds and fasteners with shots of cold galvanizing compound. Only have used it once so far. Seemed to do OK.8-19-21 -- Since I bought this I have had to replace the extension handle because I folded it when I pulled the load sideways. On heavier logs, because I lack the weight to pull the handle down (I'm 150 lbs), I have to use a come-along to pull the handle down to the log. Once you reach a certain point, it stays with little effort, it is that first 50° that is tough.

I like this dolly
I've abused this log dolly for two years. Ive pulled miles of logs using this dolly and thought many times - "good bye dolly". Somehow it makes it. I once pulled a 12 foot green maple over 20" diameter. Surely this is the end I said to myself. But it pulled it over a bumpy trailed and delivered it straight to the mill. Wow. The steels is thick - except for the handle. It is askew now due to all them logs. The tires are large and trail ready. They can take a beatin too. The hook is large and can take everything a single logger can pull. I like this dolly. It is good.

Poor materials and welds.
Broke on first use, lifting a 600lb log. Extension broke. This is absolute garbage. Returned.
