It worked like a charm
I'm outfitting my Subaru Forester for all sorts of road trips and car camping adventures and wanted a simple way to heat food. I lined the interior of the portable stove with a double layer of aluminum foil and dumped in some cold spaghetti I had previously cooked at home. I put the spaghetti in about 30-45 minutes before I arrived at my camping spot and the food was hot when I arrived. I subsequently put a bagel and cheese sandwich inside and it not only melted the cheese but somewhat toasted the bagel within maybe 15-20 minutes. I have only used the stove on one trip and I wasn't looking for anything fancy or elaborate in terms of cooking but it did the trick and, if it holds up for continued use, it is a very good product. (There is no temperature control other than plugging and unplugging it.)

Delicate but functional.
This is not a product made to take a beating. I suspect even with care it will last less than a year in my hands. There are a number of design flaws but as far as functionality, it works as described. Unlike so many look-alikes online these days, it's not just a warmer but works like a low-temperature oven, generating heat up to 300, which is enough to slow-cook meat and chicken safely. It warms to heat soups and canned meals in less than 1.5 hours. I've tested mine with an Ecoflow River 2, sort of their next-to-lowest-end battery. It draws about 60 to 75 watts the first 20 minutes or so, then levels into the 30s to 40s for the duration. Less than 1.5 hours to heat, 3 to 4 to cook two large chicken breasts, or one small cornish hen safely. If you travel by road, this thing's ideal for reheating pre-frozen meals and sides too. The interior dimensions fit most 8x4 disposables, and if you're creative, you can rest 2 4x4 pans on top of it and close the lid around all three. Since there's no element, the heating is even and moisture is trapped, so there's no dry-out, even if you let it run a little longer. As I said at the beginning, it's delicate, meaning the latch is plastic, the lid seals probably won't last, and the cord is not one I'd leave plugged in without watching, even though it's fused. Would I recommend this? Yes. Just consider it a consumable or disposable that you know will only last a certain amount of time. If you get ten to fifteen uses out of it, then it's probably going to pay for itself and then some, considering convenience and the cost of eating-out.

This is great!
I got this for my husband, who works in construction. He loves having a hot meal for lunch in his pick up everyday. He plugs it in 1/2 hour before he eats and it is always piping hot! Unit is very easy to clean. We use a re-usable pan that fits perfectly in the oven, cover with foil and poke holes in it with a toothpick to let steam escape. So easy and a great way to reheat leftovers.Only area of concern is the cord attachment to the box itself. I would not recommend stuffing the cord back in the compartment. It puts too much torque in that connection and wires can break.

Worked for 5 weeks used less than 15 times
Bought this product, first one out the box didn’t work. Got a replacement worked fine for about 2 months and less that 15 times used. Light comes on doesn’t heat. Will be looking for another brand that can hopefully last longer than this.

Heats very well so far but…
I have been using this box now for about two weeks and so far so goodIt heats food very well and very fast I know it can also cook food but I only use it to reheat my lunch and it does that goodI gave the durability rating of three stars because out of the box the pin that holds the latch when you close it was falling out I realize this was an engineering flaw because the pin did not go all the way through they had designed it to only go partially through one side I didn’t want to send it back so I took the pin out drilled a hole all the way through it and put a Carter pin in it and the Carter pin will outlast the The whole thing just a small modificationI also installed a switch on mine so that I can turn it on and off without having to unplug it due to the plug for the cigarette lighter goes in so tight it’s hard to remove so I just installed a switch where the cord winds up at and leave it plugged in and just turn it off it stays in my work truck and I use aluminum foil containers to put the food in so the box doesn’t get messyYou can find these aluminum containers in Walmart where you normally get the big aluminum roasting pans they’re about $.97 for three of themThe Reynolds wrap containers have a plastic lid which is nice but they’re $4.97 for three of them too much in my opinion

Must have for on the go workers.
It’s my third time buying one of these. I broke the others. Get the insurance on it. They work great. 30-45 minutes to have your food nice and hot
