Just go for this over a little potty chair
My twins prefer this over their little potty chairs so much! They’re excited to sit on the potty to use it. It’s pretty easy to put together, the screws can fit a little snug going in that I just ended up whacking a couple to get through the holes but they screwed on fine after that. It’s all plastic so it can be a bit wobbly/flimsy feeling. Could use a double step option and my boy is taller then my girl but even with the step on the lowest height option she can still manage to get up/down.

Great for potty training!!
Bought this potty seat for my 3 year old who is already potty trained and is very independent. He loves it!! It’s easy for him to put over the toilet and use on his own. Very sturdy so he can stand up while peeing. The supports on both sides work great and make him feel more comfortable with using the big toilet. Assembly was easy and the directions were very straight to the point and simple. We love it! Thank you.

Splash guard is useless
We decided on this potty seat because we needed a second one. We now have 2 kids potty training and sometimes they both have to go at the same time, so we put their old one in the master bathroom and this one in the kids' bathroom as the primary seat. We liked the lack of cushion seat the most because it warped and cracked on our other one and fell off all of the time. The splash guard is useless, though. It popped off the second our girl climbed up not so gracefully to sit on the potty. This means that your boy WILL spray everywhere if they don't know how to lean forward to point it down. Thankfully our boy is a litt older and now knows to basically put his stomach to his knees so he doesn't make a mess.Sturdy enough for my 2 kiddos and keeps the 16 month old from falling into the potty. Nice step for easier pooping too (think squaty potty) for our 3 year old. The 16 month old's legs are still too short.

Great product, easy use for kids, slightly more difficult to assemble than advertised.
My son is still a bit away from actual potty training but he was showing an interest in sitting on it after seeing some slightly older kids at school use it (he just turned 2 a few weeks ago). I thought we better get this on hand. It was a little more difficult to put together than I expected but we still got it assembled in less than 30 minutes. As soon as we got it put together my son wanted to try it out. He mastered climbing up the step holding the handles, turning around, and sitting down in probably 10 minutes. It was super simple for him to use and folds up tightly for easy storage. He has even figured out how to get it open and seated on the toilet himself. Great product highly recommend

Wow. This was the magic bullet for potty training
This is actually a modified version of what parents used to potty train their kids in the 1980s. It was a great and effective tool then, and it remains so now. It’s relatively easy to assemble. It takes about 15 minutes to get it assembled correctly. It’s crucial to get the screws and nuts tight so that the product is sturdy and safe. I have a feeling that the handful of people saying it wasn’t sturdy did not take the time to assemble it correctly. It’s very stable for a 2 year old at 30lbs.It doesn’t fit every toilet seat. However, on our toilet, we lift seat and it sturdily connects to the bowl. Our toddler had no problem setting it properly (which was impressive to me).Our toddler felt accomplished and excited to potty train after two months of resisting potty training. She liked the colors, the step, and the sense of independence. She prefers it over the tiny toddler potties. If I could offer any critique, I would say offer it in pink too. The colors aren’t really male or female though so it’s perfect regardless. Oddly enough, I remember these types of things being gender neutral colored in the 1980s too.

Cheap, but we'll designed
The parts aren't made that well. I somehow broke off some internal bits when trying to put in one of the handles. The seat is easy to clean, but thin. This was one of the few chairs I could find with adjustable feet though, which is exactly what I wanted. The step is a bit more shallow than I would like.

Poor packaging and handling led to damage twice
We ordered this and it was damaged when opened. After reordering the same item, the second shipment was damaged at the same spot. Additionally the manufacturer's poor packing led to loose parts spilling out of their plastic packages. The sensitive parts are not protected within the inner box.

Great product!
I thought it was a little shaky but grandson climbed right on and had no problem.
